I’m enjoying this game, but I wanted to chime in on stuff that I don’t think is getting enough discussion around.
3 issues I have that should be fixed:
-
Big Team Battle not keeping Fireteams together
I really like Big Team battle, but it’s just frustrating when half of my Fireteam is separated and we can’t coordinate with the marking system properly because some of the members are in a separate squad. I get that larger Fireteams can’t all be together, but the more we can keep together, the more fun and coordinated we can get in the same squad(s). -
Time-to-kick for idle players
While I do like that you can have a CPU take over, the time to kick idle players is way too long and gives the enemy team an advantage. I’m not saying that the CPU will make the biggest difference, but it will be better than just feeding the enemy team. -
Gravity hammer & Energy Sword balancing
I don’t think these need as many uses as they do, would recommend a decrease in usage, especially since this and the energy sword are even more powerful in the smaller maps, since we can now sprint with it.
I am having a great time for the most part, and really want this multiplayer to be better, because it’s getting closer and closer to what I want from a Halo game. I appreciate the work the team is doing with changes and listening to feedback, and these are just things I wanted to share outside of the other feedback.

The gunplay is great, it’s nice to see that the AR is getting a lot of love in this game as well as the handgun. Shock weapons (wonder if that’s the right term), like the Disruptor and Shock Rifle are great anti-vehicle weapons, even weapons on their own sometimes, and I appreciate that we don’t have to really on power weapons entirely to fight vehicles.

Movement and Gadgets, all really fun and I want to experiment more with stuff like the Grapple-shot and Repulsor. While I don’t think the Thrustor is necessary, considering the Grapple Shot is good enough. Vaulting and sliding is great, I just feel like sprinting hurts the smaller maps than the big maps.
