Feedback on Infinity CTF

Can we please not have Infinity CTF in the Capture Flag playlist. Flag camping is already an issue on Adrift and throwing in a reward for killing only makes things worse. For instance, a player is defending his or her flag and earns an ordnance drop. Said ordnance drop can contain a power weapon that would make it nearly impossible for the attackers to take the flag since most power weapons can be one shot kills. Since everyone can earn a ordnance drop that can potentially contain a one shot weapon, people will be less inclined to move out of their base, thus stagnating the flow of the game. Also, please no random weapon spawns on maps. I saw a rocket launcher get randomly dropped on the enemies base on Adrift, which immediately gave the enemy team the upper hand.
TL;DR : Please take out Infinity CTF because it hinders map flow and can make power weapon distribution severely unbalanced due to the random nature of ordinance drops.

While I do hate personal ordinance with a passion, CTF gets kind of dull with the lack of power weapons. In a regular CTF game a random ordinance drops about every two minutes I believe. One power weapon every two minutes isn’t enough to keep the game interesting. This is another reason why classic weapon spawns on the map should be put back, especially in objective.

That’s a valid point that I forgot to address. It should be more like the past Halo weapon spawns. It gives an incentive for players to run out of their base, especially since the game tells you when a power weapon spawns on the map.

Yeah… I tried it out… the Power Weapons/Ups are a big down to it. I myself, usually either protect the Flag or run it… but when you have ppl using Speed Boost and running the Flag… the likly hood of catching a Flag Runner on a Small map is slim unless your whole team is paying attention. Its kind of a whole lmao thing, in a match I ran into runners with Damage boost , most with Speed Boost… Only true power up missing is invisi… wait thats an AA now.

Personally I like Infinity CTF; It does make the playlist less competitive, but the reward of 50+ kills a again is a lot of fun, not to mention when you build personal ordnances you get weapons to stop sub par players from camping on maps like adrift. (which is all people do on adrift seeing how they have no idea how to play effectively)

So in a nutshell if you’re looking at ICTF from a social stand point, and like to stat it can be fun, but from a competitive stand point it is awful.
