-Based on Xbox One X Gameplay
-The game was fun, most maps were good and didn’t always feel predictable (except for Live Fire).
-FPS was a bit low at times even wile in performance mode. This probably happened because I had max FOV on or because I was playing on a XBONE X, so not too big of an issue yet.
-ODST bots felt easier than Spartan bots. For some reason, when fighting against the ODST bots, they felt less predictable and harder to win against in a gunfight. Meanwhile, Spartan bots felt way too easy to destroy. And this wasn’t because I had teammates come in and help me fight them, just fighting them solo felt really easy.
-Sliding and clambering is kinda weird. Most of the time when I try to slide to gain some distance, my character just sorta glitches a bit behind where I’m supposed to be, which is weird and a bit of a disadvantage sometimes. Clambering also has the same issue, where vaulting over something would just teleport you back to the spot you were before jumping, which is an actual disadvantage since you sometimes need to vault over something.
-Grappleshot feels amazing, but grappling onto weapons and enemies is still a bit confusing. During the flight, I tried to grapple onto enemies or grapple some power weapons. They were sometimes successful, but the grapple animation most of the time canceled out, so a power weapon would fall before reaching me, or I would fall before I reach to melee an enemy.
-Commando recoil feels a bit too high. Not sure if it’s because I suck at aiming, since I do, but the Commando’s recoil just felt a bit too high. I would hip fire with the thing most of the time because using Smart-link always made me fight at a disadvantage.
-Sniper zoom being way too close. In previous games, the sniper zoom felt normal, it felt like any other zoom-in weapon, just with the ability to zoom in further just in-case, but during the flight, zooming-in with the Sniper always made me lose track of the enemy because of how zoomed in it was.
-Sprint is perfect. 343i managed to make Sprint not incredibly necessary in-game by letting people immediately shoot, reload, use equipment, and etc during sprinting, meaning that nobody has an advantage while using Sprint, atleast not too much of an advantage.
-Overall, although this bit of feedback seemed to talk about the negatives of the flight, I felt that there were so many more pros than cons in-game. I really enjoyed this flight even when some bad stuff happened, because the game just felt great to play. Can’t wait to see what 343i do next with Infinite.
