I’m here to voice my opinion on the flight and how I feel about it. I’ve pretty much played it for a good but on my weekend off work.
First let’s do the positives, I personally enjoyed the gunplay and new sandbox. It is really cool seeing these new guns having unique abilities and roles as well as the equipment. No complaints there. Armor customization is good and I enjoy it, glad it takes influence from reach. (Except armor coatings)
Gun balancing is pretty much how I expected it to be with a sandbox. I only have a single issue with it.
onto the negatives,
The AR is a controversial topic at the moment and I’m neutral on it, I’m not a huge fan of it being so dominant so my solution is to just remove the headshot multiplier. That should fix it.
Aim assist on controller needs some tweaking, Improve it. Plain and simple. I’ve played halo 5 and MCC, I enjoy halo 5 aside from it being a colossal sweat fest because of low aim assist high pacing. The current pacing in infinite is alright just make aiming easier for controller.
Armor coatings I’m not a huge fan of, Nor am I a fan of how the progression and XP system are only applicable for battle pass and no other ranking system like SR in halo 4&5 or actual ranks like in 3&Reach.
Lastly, the RADAR. Jesus Christ the Radar is awful. The range is so short by the time I see a red dot behind me I already have no shields because they’re right on me. Revert it to halo reach and halo 4’s radar and call it a day.

Completely agreed here. Your post is one of the first I’ve seen other than mine mentioning the radar still isn’t fixed, I prefer it over H5/Flight 1’s radar. But yeah 18m is so small its useless, especially paired with the fast TTK. Not to mention, having no height indicators has messed me up countless times.

there actually is a semi-height indicator. When the dot is glowing it means theyre the same level as you and when its dull it means above or below.

I honestly dont see the problem, there hasnt been a single instance I couldnt figure out where the enemy was by looking at the indicators.
I do agree with range however. That should be brought back up to 25m
