I think it would be great if the game allowed us to choose how to map our controller layouts. And why is this not a thing already?
I find myself choosing a layout that seems the closest to natural (personally subjective) but always with a disadvantage. I would love to be able to switch just one set of buttons in at least three of the control schemes. Why not just let us map our controllers?

i totally agree with this. As i use bumper jumper and i find it weird to use the crouch button when i want to ground pound. other than that i like the controls on bumper jumper.

Yes to fully custom layouts and vibration toggles. They’re both a necessity that I hope 343 includes. I for the life of me don’t understand why games don’t all have this option.
