I have a few things I’d like to go over! First off, the ttk is not bad and I believe you guys need to ignore the negative focus many people have because they expect a perfect game. The game is amazing and feels good. I do have my own suggestions, not necessarily whining, but saying quality of life would improve if they were added.
The main things I want to touch on are:
-XP
-Melee complications
-Respawn timers
and lastly…
-Cudtomization
I’ve been inviting people through looking for group and just having open discussions and listening and giving my opinion and even forming or changing my opinions based on new info I get. The biggest thing that I’ve heard, that I also agree on is respawn timer. It’s 10 seconds. Yes, that’s not forever, yes people including myself get impatient. Though if I were to decide myself, I would think an 8 second red pawn timer would help the flow of the game, same timer all across the board of the different game modes.
Now experience. You guys have recently changed it to where we get 50xp per match. Which is awesome. I loved it and thought it was nice at first, but had more input in it. I believe, and I’ve had many people agree, we should get 75xp for each match, OR as an idea I had, every kill you get we could get somewhere around 2-5xp per kill. I know that’s probably not going to happen but it sounds very nice and gives an incentive for people to play more and improve their skills. Many times people won’t try very hard or be very motivated if a match that takes 30 minutes possibly, only rewards them 50xp outside of challenges. The reason I say this, before the weekly challenges were reset, I had already completed all but one in probably 12-15 hours of play time and just from messing around and not really trying to complete them. The only thing in this game that actually just really gets me pissed off though if I had to say, melee…
I have only one thing to say about it. If I melee someone even if it’s 400ms before they do or even less, they should not be able to kill me with a melee when I have just done that to them. I’m not sure how hard that is to write or program, but it is extremely annoying to be on a kill streak or in the zone and a lifesaving melee kills a guy, but just because he pressed melee even if it was after I did, he still lands the blow. I won’t say anything else about that for lack of appropriate terms here. The last thing I want to talk about is customization. I believe that the customization is amazing. The only thing I’d change about it, I believe rare armor should be able to wear anything rare, epic anything epic and below, and legendary anything legendary and below. OR another idea I had, is to be able to possibly, let’s say we’ve leveled up our battle pass all the way and the season is still going. I think it would be neat if we could put our experience towards armor pieces and level them up or u lock compatibility on any armor, though I myself am just a stickler for customization. The depth you guys have gone into is pretty cool to me I have to say. Other than that I haven’t thought of any cool ideas, but I believe that with these changes quality of life would be better. Being able to put progress to armor would be an incentive to keep going, and xp should be earned, even if just a little, through the effort we put into a match.
