Thats exactly what i was thinking when they showed off the grav hammer, but if it is like riptide, then a remix doesnt matter, the map will still be good and stand off on its own.
Actually Bravo said we are getting a brand new map from scratch. So my guess Is we are getting that map, along with a Remix. We will have to just wait, and see.
They said brand new maps in February. Although we could also get the Rig remix with new maps. Crossing my fingers for BTB maps.
Also, I know the whole remix thing bothers people, but Riptide already looks leagues better than Fathom. Fathom has a fairly poor layout. Fun for CTF but sort of a mess for Slayer. Shame the other map had to be the Warzone Assault varient of Noctus. But we’re finally leaving remix territory so that’s good.
I really hope we get a new map and the rig remix. The rig remix art was shown off before december so it’s about time! the lava and overall theme in the artwork looked really cool. It might be a remix but I think this one would be worthwhile so I hope they didn’t give it the shaft.
I’m hoping it’s the metal foundry map that 343 was discussing in one of their behind-the-scenes videos that featured a “waterfall” and stream of molten metal down the middle.
With Halo 5 graphics…that would be orgasmic to look at.
Bravo already said it’s a brand new map because of the feedback.
They didn’t say anything about a new Warzone map. Do you all think we’re getting one?
Why do so many people lower the expectations for the amount of maps we get per update. See so many people thinking we would get 1 map for Jan or 1 map for this update. In December we got 2. In January we got 2. See the minimum trend here? 343 have already discussed a new map made from scratch coming with this update as well as a map they have been working on for a while (Rig remix). I honestly think that we will actually get 3 maps with this because we should still get a new warzone environment as was the same for each update.

they have stated that it is completely new because of the amount of people complaining about the remix and forge maps they have done.
Should be a brand new map this month. But I wouldn’t turn a Rig remix away, remix maps have been really good so far.
Rig doesn’t have CTF we need a CTF map.

I have not problem with the remix, but I doubt you are correct.

Pretty sure the rig doesn’t have a massive rotating centrifuge…
