Feel free to sound as condescending as you’d like, I feel stupid asking this. What’s the difference between a featured game and the regular ones? Is there a difference?
Fairly sure the featured playlists grants more REQ and XP. Not sure beyond that.
As far as I know, it is just 343s way of promoting it.

That’s what I though, but there’s no way to verify it and Heroic Firefight is always Featured and legendary is not, but I would imagine Legendary should reward more, no? That’s my confusion.

Legendary and Mythic do give out more XP and RP per game, but they’re not as time-efficient as Heroic Firefight due to the increased difficulty. If you want to level up quicker and avoid some headaches, stick with Heroic.
Featured playlists grant a bit more XP and RP. But the difference is small. I think its 200 rp. Not sure how much for xp

I think it is 500 additional XP.
I think featured games are around for a limited amount of time.
