So I feel like this is the correct place for this… but I have a question regarding the featured playlist…
It’s been suggested that I try my hand at featured playlists to earn more XP faster as I’m grinding to 152… just played a ranked game of ranked Mythic Arena (featured), it happened to be oddball… I was looking over my stats and I saw I only earned just over 3.7k for the match and it said 0 points for boost… now we lost the match, but if it’s featured, should I have still earned the double XP since it’s featured? I feel like I should stay away from the featured playlists and stick with my Heroic FF as I average around 4k in XP per match… someone explain it to me in simple terms? I’m fairly new to the online of it all (started last week or so) and stuck to mainly FF as that’s what I’m good at, but I’ve been exploring my options and trying to find the right area to benefit me the most… help is greatly appreciated.

Featured playlists do give double base xp, but its usually less then warzone firefight because the games don’t last as long. So theoretically you can gain more xp in a few hours of playing in the featured playlist because you play more games in that time frame. From my experience, its not really worth it over playing firefight unless you enjoy playing that featured mode. I usually switch between the two to give myself a break so I’m not playing the same mode over and over. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask any more questions you may have.

It does… and I somewhat figured that out yesterday… also just couldn’t figure out why I didn’t get any bonus xp…

The boost spot is for xp gained from xp boost applied only. And 3.7k xp from arena is double, you only get about 1000 to 1200 xp from an arena game, plus the extra for rank and team position and such. Double xp only applies for the base xp, not rank or team position xp, and not boost xp either.

Don’t, its kinda confusing I know. Especially when it says double xp, you kinda expect everything to be double. Anyways, I seen you’ve been grinding firefight for xp, if happen to want a partner, feel free to add me. I’m doing the same.

For sure… and likewise… sometimes I’m Firefighting with my wife (she plays too)… trying to work on achilles too with our company… luckily I’m working on the covenant, promethean and boss kills right now… then I guess I’ll have to switch game modes and help with those (but I’m super terrible at the other games though)…

That’s cool I guess. Buuuut being in a spartan company will take gamemodes from you, which isn’t hell but you know kinda lame, but I get it.
