FEAR NOT. I noticed something

So I knoow a lot of you are worried about all this talk of perks and call of halo reach.

But I have been piecing together some evidence that may suggest comp halo will still be featured.

First i all the gameplay I have seen the multiplayer maps are tight and arena style, no armor abilities are present. No signs on hud indicate any sort of abnormal functions. and no bloom was seen.

This leads me to believe that there will be ways to experience old Halo. If there are playlists with perks and loadouts and abilities. I would venture to believe playlists will have vanilla Halo as well. Just you your guns on an even playing field.

and also weapons are still picked up on map.

I agree. Check out my thread here:

As long as there is no supernatural -Yoink- like Call Of Duty’s ninja pro/extra lunge/extra silent/extra damage and loadouts don’t control gameplay I’m 100% satisfied.

Call of duty has normal soldiers, halo has genetic-enhanced spartans.

Frank said in an interview how they’re able to cater to different kinds of players thanks to the playlist setup they have going on, so comp Halo will probably be different to normal Halo. It’s still kinda disappointing though. It’s just nice when a game can be competitive and casual at the same time, without needing different gametypes.

I’m really loving the clean design we saw on the Forerunner map. The lack of unnecessary visual noise is a godsend and all competitive maps should continue this trend

i want the halo 3 experiences > in halo 4 style That’s all :frowning:

So you want them to go the route of CoD by releasing a copy pasta game every year? Im sorry but most of us want something different, and the majority tend to be catered to. Just the way things are.

Everything in Halo is possible and remains possible, Call Of Duty is supernatural because of things like the ability to fall unlimited distances with a perk to the ground as a normal human without any realistic enhancing attributes.

I’m sorry but there is a limit to how far a game develops. Call Of Duty has almost reached it’s prime with innovation; the only thing they can do now is add different weapons and perks each year and that’s it. Halo is not a copy and paste every year, they have added new weapons with different abilities, added forge, theater, firefight and have gone too far when introducting AA’s when Halo is supposed to be a game where everybody starts off on the same foot.

It seems to me so far from what I’ve seen that Halo 4 is just a copy & paste of Call Of Duty with Spartan super soldiers minus the -Yoink- choppers/UAV’s etcetera.
