If you don’t know who Favyn is he’s a YouTuber who talks about Halo with more passion than anyone else. I can back him up on literally 100% of what he says. Not everything he says is positive but he speaks the TRUTH. If you’re like me you probably like Halo 5 but feel something isn’t right with is it. Cant figure out what in Halo 5 isn’t scratching that itch? Well Favyn knows exactly what it is. If you’re still reading please read a little but longer (if you love Halo). If you have that itch I was talking about even at the slightest bit it means you’re in a cloud. You’ve been so used to accepting changes made by developers and choices from 343i and probably other game developers too that you’ve been put in this cloud of “maybe the next one will be better, I’ll just deal with what I’ve got for now” I have some sad news for you it’s not going to get better unless we unite and let Favyn’s words be our voice. We must support him…Whats that you say? You think you’re NOT in a cloud and you see everything the way it is?? Wrong, you’re wrong. Before you either stop reading or comment hate, just put down your weapons and listen to me. You’re too blinded by the cloud to see that our beloved Halo is on the brink if being just another game franchise. Please, if you feel even the slightest bit deep down that there’s part of you that wants just wants Halo to be Halo again, please watch just one of these.

I feel the biggest issue has been the campaign more than anything else. They needed an epic story to go with the great gameplay, but instead we only got the great gameplay and a lackluster story.
Req system grew on my, though if they still had some set unlocks included for ranks, campaign, achievements, etc it would have been better.
The lack of content at launch is the one thing that held back the what I would say is near perfect gameplay. There isn’t a real explanation behind it either.
Halo 5 was 50% complete at launch.
Now it’s nearing the 80% (missing proper BTB maps, a File Browser and a few game modes).
Other than that, the gameplay is fun, the graphics are decent, Forge is the best ever by a large margin, the campaign is open and replayable as opposed to a scripted canyon crawler (lame-Yoink!- story aside). And we’re getting Firefight.

I was talking about Halo 4, which didn’t exactly capture the sandbox feel of previous Halos. Halo 5 did good with this. Environments were big and open, offering many different ways to get through. There were many weapoms and vehicles laying around. Collectibles were back… easter eggs.
I love Halo 4’s campaign, but on that frontbonly a couple of missions were satisfying

I’ve played every Halo when they came out, played multiplayer in every one that had it. (no lan parties in ce for me) In my opinion, Halo 5 is the only one that had core multiplayer perfect right off the bat, every other game came out unbalanced and flawed, and it took forever to get it right. Did you ever consider that 343 might be trying to go at this from a different direction than Bungie did? Core gameplay is what makes the game playable, then add in all the extras. Seems fairly intelligent to me.

The -Yoink- outta here with logic. You’re clearly still trapped deep in the cloud. Just donate 50$ to favyn and he will free your mind.
But just make sure when discussing things like this you treat people with respect.(not saying you haven’t )
If someone disagrees with some of the stuff I talk about its ok. In fact it’s encouraged because it promotes discussion and discussions allow us to learn more about how the other came to their conclusions.
