Just interested to know which weapons are getting the most love. Personally I absolutely love the whiplash railgun and the saw variant the answer, both guns feel incredibly satisfying to use and in certain situations can destroy multiple enemies very quickly!

Still missing the Nornfang, what makes it unique? I find the regular sniper very easy to use.

I have been on the receiving end of the answer a few times. Those explosive rounds make it nearly impossible to counter.

So very true. Awesome for clearing the enemies core room and that name river of light is class.

Railgun. Has a short charge, but getting a long-range kill with this weapon feels more satisfying than any other weapon to me, even the sniper rifle. Also a beast for destroying any vehicles. Pull out a whiplash and get mashing.
The SAW is also pretty good, I guess.

Those guns are so much fun to use, I also like using any of the UNSC shotguns they are all really nice.

This game? Definitely the updated Storm Rifle and Prophet’s Bane! From the whole series it has always been Covenant weaponry: Plasma Rifle, Energy Sword, Carbine.

Can never understand why people hardly ever pick up the storm rifle. It seriously wrecks!
I really like the railgun too, haven’t used whiplash yet… After that I’m a big DMR guy
I gotta admit, I went into Halo 5 carrying most of my hatred for the Storm Rifle from Halo 4 with it. It was an ugly, foreign, useless, total SMG reskin that looked nothing like the Plasma Rifle and had no business putting the iconic big blue rifle to rest.
Much of that hasn’t changed, but at least now it’s a perfectly viable weapon, and is extremely useful when burst fired at range. I welcome it as a positive addition to the sandbox aside the rest of the Covenant weapons, as it performs very differently from the other guns, but I wish it looked like the Plasma Rifle instead.
That said however, my favorite weapon is still the Magnum.
Another Whiplash advocate here…so sick and easy to use. Light Rifle is the elegant Promethean dmr…harder to use but people run from the orange beams of death !!!
