Personally i love Halo 4’s campaign i love the chemistry between Chief and Cortana. While the Didact isn’t the best character I still love him and i wouldn’t say hes as terrible as Locke. I liked most of the characters in this game. And while not that connected to the campaign I love the Master Chief armor in halo 4
Halo 2 closely followed by Halo Reach.
Halo 3 or ODST. I really liked the style change from Rookie stalking around at night to the more bombastic drops of his teammates.
Reach, then 3. I just love the thought of fighting for survival aspect in the Halo games. Although, they could have done so much more with Reach’s campaign (coming from reading the Fall of Reach and with Spartan II’s being deployed both at ground and space and the Spartan III’s Op: Torpedo, or perhaps showcasing more space battles at the atmosphere of Reach, etc), it still gave me the most chills out of all Halo games
Halo 3: ODST

Halo: Reach
Halo 4 is easily my favorite.
Casually: Truth and Reconciliation. It can be very challenging on Legendary but not unfair. If I die, it’s my own fault. Sniping elites is such fun.
For speedrunning: The Library. I love the non-stop run and gun and knowing certain exploits and despawns gives you night breaks every once in a while. The CE shotgun is a beast and so much fun to use.
Halo 4’s campaign will always have a special place in my heart because of Master Chief’s and Cortana’s connection. The ending still gets me choked up. It’s a solid campaign experience and it was refreshing to play the start of a new saga.
For me it’s probably ODST, CE, then H3!
Hard choice though
I would have to say Reach is probably my favourite (and best ) campaign
Halo 3 for me!
ODST had a story like a book, and there was a lot of lines to be read in between
ODST and Reach’s campaigns are my favorites
Halo 2. Especially compared to Halo 1, it added so much depth to the Halo universe. The map design is incredible and memorable, and the gameplay is fun. Halo 3 is a close second.
Unpopular opinion: Reach had a good campaign but not a great one. I don’t think the story was that good, it seemed to rely on killing off characters to maintain any emotional depth. The maps were okay, and while some parts were memorable, others were not. Still a good campaign though.
