Whenever people discuss their favourite armour and helmets in the game, the ones that usually come up are remakes of helmets from the Bungie games (Recon Gen 1, Mark IV etc). So I’m curious, what’s your favourite completely new helmet from Halo 4 or Halo 5? My favourite is the Locus/Locus Edge, it’s so menacing and badass.
I’ll give it to Warrior. It’s not overly convoluted and has a very simple design. It could have even blended in with some of the classic helmets of the previous games.
Deadeye, hands down. It’s sleek, sharp, and makes for an excellent Achilles substitute.

I agree, Locus might be my favorite 343-designed helmet. Although it was somewhat of a disappointment in Halo 5 since they tried to pretend an Aviator re-skin is the Locus armor. After Locus was just a helmet in Halo 4, I was excited to hear it had its own armor in Halo 5. Imagine my disappointment when I unlocked it… I also dislike how they put a bunch of white paint on both helmet variants. Hopefully we will have full control over the color of our Spartans in Halo 6.

I think Air Assault in Halo 4 and 5 was based on Air Assault from Halo Reach (which is in Halo 5 under the name Intruder), so it’s not totally 343’s design.
I like the Hunter helmet or the Achilles helmet. I had a hard time thinking about this one. These are 2 out of the 3 helmets that I use and I love the looks of both on them.

What’s the third one? 
Argus helmet. Too bad the extra eyes doesnt change with the visor. Hope that be fixed in 6.
I like the Technician helmet.

I’ll take their rendition of Air Assault any day over their other helmets.

Yeah my spartan only wears that one.
Warrior and Recruit, Simplicity has always been better
AirAssault is by far one of the best helmets they made.
The Ranger set is awesome. Especially the shoulder pads and chest piece. The helmet is also unique and intimidating.
Pathfinder is a very underrated helmet. It reminds me of a hawk or owl face.
343 does deserve props for some of the armor variants. Maco also is very admirable just looking at it
Enforcer is my favorite. It always reminded me of Master Chief’s helmet (post halo 4) without actually being Master Chief’s. Helljumper is a close second though.

I do love Achilles, but if I had to choose another it would definitely be Warrior. I love that helmet too.

Military Police from the Reach REQ pack awhile ago. But that one is Bungie hence why I didn’t include it
If we’re talking 343 but not limited to Halo 5, I’d say it’s an easy HAZOP GEN2.
If we’re talking Halo 5, Scout GEN2 and Deadeye are my favorites.
