Favourite Halo games

Hey boys and girls cof this wonderful community,

I was wondering what are your favourite games in the Halo series. Juged by personal memories together with friends or subjectively in terms of gameplay, technical issues and such.

For example my favourite 3 in no specific order are
Halo 3, Halo 5 and Halo 3 ODST

Best Campaigns:

  1. Halo CE. Classic, where it all started
  2. Halo 2
  3. Halo ODST. Was pretty cool

Best Multiplayers:

  1. Halo 2 By far the best on basically started Xbox Live
  2. Halo 3
  3. Halo 5

My favorite Halo are combat evolved and halo 2, I just loved them since they came out and I keep playing them. I can’t stop but loving CE in the classic view (not the annyversary) because it brings me so many memories. It was epic when I played it for the first time and I still feel the awesomeness of the game :smiley:

For campaign:

  1. Halo 2. Just an epic game and so fun to play. I would’ve put it far and above the rest if not for the infuriating cliffhanger (and having to wait 3 damn years for the follow-up, lol).
  2. Halo CE. Awesome story and fun, fun, fun. But the linear campaign design and recycling of levels took away from some of it. Unparalleled final level (warthog section).
  3. Halo 3. Enjoyable campaign and good resolution to the initial series. Not long enough though.

For Multiplayer:

  1. Halo 3. I just played the hell outta this game. So.Much.Fun. I miss playing it.
  2. Halo 2. Made Xbox Live what it is. Fast gameplay and furious combat. Though the option to dual-wield and the savagery of the noob combo took grenades out of the equation and made most encounters identical.
  3. Halo 5. Nice return to form with faster gameplay and the removal of most armor abilities. Still some work to be done with server connections, aiming, and that damn spartan charge.
