I really loved Primordium. The Fall of Reach is another one of the best. Evolution’s Human weakness also comes to mind

Mine’s probably either The Cole Protocol or Shadow of Intent. A bit of blasphemy, but anymore I’m not too fond of Nylund. His prose, while not as frustrating as Kelly Gay’s or infuriating as Karen Traviss’, isn’t the best, and there tend to be more internal errors in his novels than others I’ve noticed. For example the titular Fall of Reach in The Fall of Reach is dated as 2542.

Some of my personal favorite Halo novels include the Eric Nylund trilogy, Greg Bear’s Forerunner Saga, all six of Troy Denning’s books, Kelly Gay’s books, Evolutions, Fractures, Envoy, and Legacy of Onyx.
As for comics, some of my favorites are the original Halo Graphic Novel, Helljumper, Bloodline, Rise of Atriox, Collateral Damage, and Lone Wolf. All of these novels/comics are terrific reads in my opinion and I highly recommend them.

A Fistful of Arrows might as well be Canon with the amount of effort put into it. I love the fact that it’s fan comic which manages to go into incredible detail with its characters. It’s really good!

I tend to be divided between Bloodline and Helljumper. The only book that I red was Nylund’s Fall of reach.

Halo: Bad Blood would have to be my favorite. Action packed with returning characters, callbacks, new looks at the characters from Halo 5 and the UNSC Infinity, and just an amazing story all around. You can’t have The Arbiter and Jun in the same book and not have it be the best story you’ve ever read.

Ghosts of onyx has always been my favourite.
But fall of reach was my intro to halo.
That said i love the Dennings novels.
Point of light and silentium are also really good.

Fall of Reach was my first Halo book and is still my favourite, but The Flood is a close second.
I’m only just starting to get into the books, but I’ve been listening to Contact: Harvest recently and I’m really surprised no one has brought it up here. I love it so far!

I think my favourite book is Hunters in the Dark or Ghosts of Onyx.
And for comics, maybe Bloodline or Lone Wolf!
But I enjoyed all the media I’ve read.

Its a tie between Fall of Reach, Contact Harvest, and New Blood. I’ve reread Fall of Reach around 4 times.
I need to read more. The only one’s I’ve read were the original 3, so my favorite is Fall of Reach. Possibly next would be The Flood as I really enjoyed the exploration of other areas & characters the game didn’t get to cover.
My favorite is tie between Fall of Reach and Cole Protocol

Fall of Reach so far is my favorite. I still remember not being able to put the book down during a particular space battle.
