What is everyone’s favourite Halo book/comic? Mine is probably the short story ‘Dirt’ in the Halo evolutions book. I’ve read the Kilo five series too which is brilliant for anyone who likes espionage kind of Stories. Comic series wise I’d say the Rise of Atriox. The last book I read was silent storm and haven’t picked up another Halo book since. Does anyone have any recommendations for what I should read next?
Halo: The Fall of Reach, Halo: The Flood, and Halo: First Strike will forever be my favourites.
Point of Light is really hard to overlook for me: it combines the crew of the Ace of Spades with a lot of the mystery and lore from the Forerunner trilogy while also giving us an unique set of perspectives on two seismic events in the universe: Cortana’s uprising and the final defeat of the Forerunner forces by the flood.
Close second would have to be Shadow of Intent because who doesn’t love Rtas 'Vadum
Honourable mentions to Cole Protocol, Envoy, and Last Light

Fall of reach was the first one I ever read back when I was still in high school. Definitely a good read and first strike was really good too.

That sounds really interesting. I think I might look into buying that one. Doesn’t it have two other books based before it?

Sequel to the novella Smoke and Shadow and the novel Renegades - both of them are also phenomenal reads.
Hunters in the Dark also has some tangential relevance too, as does the Forerunner trilogy
Halo: The Flood

Oh well then you’re well set. Enjoy. Fantastic books. Rion Forge is a great character.
Ace of Spades is kinda like Halo’s version of Firefly

That sounds awesome , I’m looking forward to reading them now.
For me Fall of Reach is first, but Ghosts of Onyx is a very close second. I just started Silent Storm and have been enjoying it, so I am curious to see where this story goes.
Cole Protocol or Contact Harvest. Johnson is a gimme, but yeeting an asteroid filled with refugees through slipspace has got to be up there

Yeah it is a good read. Last year I read that and Bad blood.
If you have read new blood I’d definitely recommend bad blood.

Yeah me too. The scope of Halo is huge and the stories are great.
