What are your guys’ favourite covenant/banished species and why?
Personally my favourite species are the grunts because of both lore and gameplay reasons - Gameplay-wise they are easy to kill and I enjoy gunning them down, but lore-wise they’re a lot smarter and stronger than the halo games make them out to actually be.

The Elites, they are easily recognisable amongst other sci-fi universes, and I love fighting them, and their lore.

The elites, they are the most dynamic and have the best story. They are key to the covenant. But I do have to say Brutes in spartan armor is so so cool.

Sangheili are of course my favorite, but Kig-Yar are a VERY close second.

The Elites are what won me over and got me to play Halo.
I was but a wee bab who only ever owned nintendo consoles and a ps2 until one day my best friend who owned a 360 showed me a well known game we all know as Halo 3. We dropped into the campaign and I got my first look at the badass alien known as the Arbiter and quickly I fell in love with his armor design and soon after his entire race.
I was a bit shocked to learn they were enemies in the first 2 because I wasn’t quite sure what the story was until later but they still hold out as my favorite race.

I like the Jiralhanae but sadly it seems that good ones are really rare to find - Would love to see an allied faction made up of them like the Swords of Sangehelios at some point but I doubt that will ever happen

I like them all, but my personal favourites are the Unggoy and Huragok.
But the Sangheili are up there as a close second!

My favorite are the Elites; they are so closely resembled to us than any of the other factions within the Covenant/ Banished. Plus, with Arbiter being the fan-favorite that he is, who’s not to say that I would proudly join his ranks if I was an Elite. Wort.

Yeah true we share a close resemblence with the Elites - Hopefully we can see the Arbiter back in action in-game sometime in the future
Can we get some love for the Grunts? Am I the only one who likes them the most? Although they may be helpless in battle their quips and responses make me laugh so much everytime I play Halo and hear them just talk about stuff randomly
