Before I started playing Halo 4 my prime weapon of choice was the sniper rifle, however recently my preference completely leaned toward the shotgun. Close quarters combat is more of my style. What are yours?
DMR or BR. I’m not an elitist like it sounds. I just like the versitility of both the weapons, even though I prefer mid-long range combat The DMR was the first precision weapon I was competent with though.

Pitting those two together makes a very deadly combo in especially SWAT.

I myself would prefer the battle rifle.

That is the weapon that I use everyday. Remember the Halo CE weapons?
The SAW Is my favourite weapon in Slayer, but in BTB, nothing beats the Missile Pod. I miss it so much…
Favorite weapon is easily the Gravity Hammer.
The weapon I’m best with is the DMR.

I definitely agree with this. I just like being prepared for any situation, It lets me take on whatever role I want on the team.
I don’t know 
For general use when I’m not filling any particular role other than maybe assault, BR. Decent at mid to long range, usable fairly close. Secondary depends on the presence of vehicles.
DMR/BR for their versatility.
Covenant carbine then the plasma rifle. The AR is also one of my favorites.
My favourite is the M6D (the Halo: CE magnum) because it was just so powerful and accurate 
The Spartan Laser makes short work of everything.
Br or carbine been using carbine quite alot at the minute and liking it a lot.
