Favorite Weapon Not Updating

My favorite weapon still says it is Battle rifle. This isn’t accurate tho. Currently I have 3248 Br kills and 3279 banshee bomb kills in matchmaking. I noticed it counts spartan ops kills too. I have 434 Br kills in spartan ops and 450 banshee bomb kills. Does it just update really slow, or is it a glitch and will not update?

I haven’t played campaign at all. so no br or banshee bomb kills there

after some further research any vehicle will not count as favorite weapon. this is rather disappointing.
