What was your favorite thing about the mobile games?
I recently had the pleasure (once I figured out how to keep the game from crashing) of enjoying Spartan Strike for the first time. I also finished up Spartan Assault. I think they are about as good as you can get when adapting Halo to be a mobile / twin-stick game.
Obviously, the Grizzly levels were a blast. But, the excitement of getting to use a Grizzly was slightly edged out by the Kestrel in Spartan Strike, at least for me. It’s like a tiny, hovering tank of chaos! If either of those would make it to a mainline game, I would be thrilled. Even more so, I’d be thrilled to see a third mobile game released!

Yeah for sure. Vanguard did a great job adapting those weapons and vehicles for mobile too.

I agree. I just wish the games were still accessible/downloadable to this day. I understand not maintaining support after a period of time but at least make sure its still available for those who wish to download and play.

Agreed. I’d wanted to try and play on my iPhone as well, but there’s no way to get them anymore. At least the Xbox and PC versions still work!

Same here :-/ Both games are enjoyable, but I had more fun with Spartan Strike for sure.

I think the only way to do so is if you downloaded it once before back when it came out. I believe you can go back through your download history to re download but I’m not entirely sure on that method.

That may be possible, but you also need to have iOS 8.0 or lower I believe if you play on an iPhone. Not too sure about Windows Phone, but I heard Microsoft will soon be ending support for games on that platform.

Yeah, Spartan Strike on Xbox is highly unlikely but it’s on my wishlist

That’s fair and a shame to hear. Maybe they’ll find a way to update those games and make them available again sometime down the road.

I had a great time trying to get my Xbox One Spartan Assault client completed GASO (Gold All Skulls On), somewhat similar to LASO.

This is correct. If you are using the same account you originally purchased them with you should be able to redownload them, I did it. Additionally, I have managed to load the games on my iPhone 8 that is only one iOS version behind from current.
