To detract from all the people who go by the normal Halo fan pattern (Halo 2 sucks, Halo 3 comes out and it sucks while Halo 2 is better, etc.) I though we could have a nice conversation on what everyone’s favorite cut-scene/part of Halo 4’s campaign was. Personally for me, it was the part where Captain Del Rio ordered the bridge to arrest Master Chief and the entire crew was just giving him faces of “Um no…”
Cortana saving Chief from the Nuke, all the way up to the conversation with Lasky.I liked that part a lot. I’m a sucker for emotional sections.
The GAMEPLAY part that i liked the most is definitely Part 1 of the Last mission, great music, gameplay and epicness all over the place.
The STORY part that i liked the most is The Librarian explaining the Forerunner-humans war and the Didact scenes in general
Spoilers
My favorite part was either when (Rio?) started to scream at chief for disobeying (that really caught me off guard). Or the scene when Chief follows the Didact through the slipspace portal and looks up to find himself at a Halo ring que the classic theme which gave me goosebumps.
spolers!
best part was when Chief fights the didact with just a pulse grenade as cortana is keeping the didact at bay.
best quicktime event in Halo 4.
when chief disobeyed the orders with cortana getting angry and the commander wants to deactivate her, such a good scene!!
My favourite part was definitely when Chief first saw Installation 03, and then the classic halo music played… awesome…
One complaint though.
I thought the Chief talked too much, and it made him look less in character compared to the Chief we’ve known. A good example of this is the confrontation with Del Rio. Overall I thought the scripting and dialogue was disappointing/sub-par. Sorry, I had to let it out.
So many, it’s hard to choose; the Librarian scene was great, as was the ending.
