What’s up, Spartans?
I hope that everyone had a blast from BTB this past weekend for Flight #3. I really enjoyed the map and the three different game modes available for BTB. What were your favorite moments from BTB this past weekend? My favorite moments were getting a triple kill with the Heatwave this weekend, getting a killing spree by running people over with the ghost this past weekend, hijacking other people’s vehicles, getting a no scope kill while jumping with my opponent with the sniper, and some epic moments from CTF.

Killing Spartans by throwing fusion coils at them and their vehicles has been hilarious. Had one guy shoot it out the air before it hit him, time to run away.
Learning friendly fire is on in some ways after getting steamrolled by my teammates Ghost.
Getting a Killtacular.
Flipping a Warthog within a second of climbing into it but still keeping the trust of my random gunner to get back on and try again.
I have been really enjoying the Repulsor in objective gametypes. It’s creates some amazing defensive plays. Launching yourself upwards with it is also great.

That’s awesome! I never had a Fusion Coil thrown at me this past weekend, but that sounds like a lot of fun!
I had a really funny moment in BTB where I was chasing after an opponent in the ghost to splatter them and I hit him, and then one of my teammates fell out of the sky and right into my ghost right after I killed my opponent and I killed my teammate and got -100 points. I was dying laughing and crying.
I also REALLY enjoyed the repulsor and the “hookshot”. That was really fun to use while playing CTF and evading enemy shots.
So much grapple shenanigans! Best one was randomly encountering a banshee while Tarzan swinging around and smacking it with the hammer.
True halo moment was also the first time in the wasp. Immediately took it back to base and we tried stacking as many Spartans as possible on it meanwhile losing the game.
Most funny was the first game with a mate that didn’t know about outlines. Was in the gunner of his hog while he made a proud splatter multi kill in a territory… of teammates! Had tears of laughing.
I was playing Total Control, and in Objective C on the first round the plot is inside this little tunnel area. I got the Heatwave and decided to just hold my position and defend the point against enemies, I held it the whole round and killed so many people!
Then another time, I got my hands on a Scorpion and just laid waste to the enemy team in the last couple minutes of the match which was incredibly fun. I did the same with the Wasp during a Total Control match, and I even took down another Wasp in a dogfight. It felt so epic.
My brother and I took a Mongoose on one of the side valley trails during CTF and ran the enemy’s flag without any problems, just felt super satisfying!
Opening my first Vault was really really cool. Me, my dad, my mother-in-law and my brother held the point down and looted the cave. It was a really cool first experience.
And one really smooth moment, my brother and I looted a Vault and I found a Skewer. When we walked out I saw an enemy Wasp on the other side of the map and I lead my shot and got the pilot directly with one blow which was super awesome.
I had a ton of fun playing BTB
Yeeting fusion coils at enemies is new favorite mechanic! My favorite one was launching of the man canon and hitting a mongoose driver below me who was transporting a flag carrier, then watching my team swarm the poor Spartan who was just awkwardly holding the flag on the back of the mongoose.
I swoop down to hit someone with the banshee then got skyjacked, grapple hook to get it back then a little rocket blew us both up. Good times

LOL! I had that happen as well, by accidentally mowing over my teammates with a ghost! I was crying laughing! I also loved the grapple shenanigans this past weekend! I can’t wait to get back in and play some more!

Wow! It sounds like you had some epic moments this past weekend! I also loved getting to open a vault for the first time and see what all was in it! I love how the vault changes and you’ll get different weapons and powerups. I tried using the skewer when I got it from the vault and I walked out and instantly got killed. I was so sad. Lol.

That sounds epic! I wish that I could’ve seen that happen! I can’t wait to get back into Infinite’s multiplayer! It felt SO good to play BTB and see all of the shenanigans unfold!

I liked the warthog, much faster than before and a significantly higher rollover risk lol… once I stopped holding down the gas pedal the entire time and slowed down for turns and hills I had no problem making a few flag runs.
I love the fusion coils too! Throwing them at people, strategically leaving them around the flag… maybe we can stick 3 or 4 of them under a warthog and launch ourselves across the map? Haven’t tried this one yet but there’s tons of opportunity here.

I’ll have to see about getting the autopilot engaged medal once the game goes back online for play. I also REALLY like the warthog and ghost. I never got a chance to try the wasp out, but I saw people using it and flying around. It looked like a ton of fun!
My favorite thing was unlocking the vault and getting a hammer. It saved my life cause there was 5 people chasing me into the vault and when I got the hammer i got my first and fastest killing spree in Halo infinite.
Driving and running over people in the middle of the road ( enemies and teammates ) was super fun
The scorpion felt so powerful but its pretty cramped in the map
I hope we get another flight cuz i still have so much more to do
The dozens of times where I jumped to try and avoid a Ghost boosting at me, then lagged back down so that I still got splattered -_______-
Happening on enemy vehicles many times while I had rockets or a hammer. The first one was a Warthog and Mongoose that ran into each other. I also took out a Scorpion with about 7 overcharged Ravager rounds. If you’re gonna let me do that you definitely shouldn’t be driving.
I got my Banshee hijacked going for a splatter but I’m like “that’s alright, I’ve got a Skewer.” I got him with it and found out that was the 100th kill.
My favorite was probably when I picked up our flag carrier before anyone got to him. Another one was when I pulled up next to the flag in a hog thinking “this is gonna be easy” but then there was a hailstorm of bullets, plasma and grenades. None of us made it. Lol

I agree! I would love the chance to be able to play Halo Infinite again before launch.
I tried the hammer out a couple of times, but I didn’t have much success with it, so I switched to long range weapons.
I had a lot of fun getting “splatter” kills with the warthog and the ghost. That was a lot of fun.
I never got to use the scorpion, but I hope that I can in the future.

The lag wasn’t too bad for me except on Friday night around 10 PM CST and everyone in my party was lagging. I know that’s frustrating when the game lags and you die because of something that wasn’t in your control. Hopefully, the servers will be able to take the mass influx of players on December 8th.

Lol. That happened to me a few times! I brought a warthog or mongoose to the opponent’s base to get the flag and then I got blown to smithereens! It gave me a good laugh!
