Some of my favorite moments in Halo come from Halo 3 lan parties, but I also have some more recent stories from Halo 5
-one of my favorite moments in Halo 3 lan was a capture the flag game, everyone was yelling and screaming with excitement and panic as the flag dropped inches from the enemy flag stand,
-another Halo 3 moment was during one sided assault in Halo 3. I had the splaser on last resort and I was set up on the middle platform by the turbine, I saw one blue spartan coming around the corner and I fried him and two of his buddies for the triple collateral.
-Halo 3 again, this time we had honor system rules for sandtrap. Basically you could only kill people if you were on the elephants. It was amazingly fun and somehow one elephant mounted the other
-A map I would like to see in Halo 5 is Rat’s Nest. In case you didn’t know, Rat’s Nest is a circular map from Halo 3 which has both teams spawn next to two warthogs. During our lan parties, we would circle around with the warthogs completely mopping up the other team’s stragglers. On one occasion, I was driving a warthog with my teammate in the gunner seat. We drifted around a corner and found ourselves behind the entire enemy team. I yelled to my teammate “Waste 'em!” and he opened fire. And we were met with two SPNKR rockets and a laughing red team on the couch opposite of us.
-Unfortunately, it is hard to set up lan for Halo 5 because you would need about 16 xbox ones and 16 XBL accounts because of no split screen. (and for some reason Halo 3 was always the easiest to set up for lan, Halo Reach and 4 always gave us problems, which was strange because they were developed AFTER halo 3) BUT I have had some interesting online multiplayer experiences.
-I once got a killtacular (5 kills for you COD kids) in grifball to score the ball, I have a game clip of this
-On the battle of noctus, I boosted off of the gravity lift and landed on the phantom which was dropping off the ghost jockey. Another guy landed up there and we 1v1’d eachother on top of the phantom, I won (game clip too)
-triple kill with incineration cannon while defending the garage in march on stormbreak (gameclip)
-Beating the Halo 5 campaign on legendary solo
-Beating the Halo CE campaign with my friend in an all night marathon
Well there are some amazing things that have happened to me in Halo, anyone else want to share some stories?
