Forums are a bit slow, so I thought I would start something new.
List your favorite map for 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. Leave a short reason why too.
1v1: Blood Gulch/Blood River - I love the maps with lots of hooks because games tend to be more fast paced, and you see alot more lower tier units used.
2v2: Memorial Basin - Same reason as above. I like when infantry are more viable.
3v3: Fort Deen - Teams starting bases are all together on a elevated position, making for epic defense battles. I also like Forerunner walls, and the telporters that go with them.
> Tundra and chasm, not to many (reactor) hooks that you have to rely on or keep away from the enemy.
I like Chasm too, because as you said, it is easy to hold the one supply elevator behind your base.
Tundra is interesting. Never seen someone make very good use out of the sniper towers in mid, though I am sure it can be done. I also like the Mega Cannon; I just wish it were on other maps too.

Putting a spartan with the turret gun upgrade in them make decent defense for small groups of enemies and they can survive quite a bit for you to get your troops to that location.
Also good scout/sentry options.
1v1: Chasms - This has been my favorite 1v1 map since the halo wars demo. It’s simple, is fairly balanced in every UNSC vs Covie or UNSC vs UNSC matchup, and is just fun to play on in general.
2v2: Memorial Basin - This is my favorite map in the game. Supply elevators make the game interesting, and it’s the only 2v2/3v3 map with them on it.
> 1v1 - Chasms - Small, basic, and leaves many possibilities because of it’s size.

Beasley’s Plateau is probably my second favorite 2v2 map. I like the extra pads for each starting base. The extra turret slot and cover next to them makes for interesting fights.

exile allows for a free base if people like to instant expand. reactors to offer for different build orders, turret rushing available in the center makes people weary of that free base, just lots of options for different play styles.
fort deen is also really good i just like exile more haha. frozen valley is my favorite map to play as the chieftain

You have 2 of my favourites, but I play Exile too much and have gotten sick of it.
