Personally my favorite is the MA37 because of it’s design. However, I do like the sound & power of the MA5D from Halo 4.

Those are really cool. I never really liked the giant underslung flashlight or over-sized optic suite on top. They do make for a unique, recognizable silhouette but it just makes the whole thing look way too heavy and difficult to wield. I like the look of the slick bottom rail and cut down optic platform on that MA5K, just wish we’d see something like that in the games.
On topic, my favorite is probably the new MA5D with the green furniture, followed by the MA37.
On a side-note, how the hell do they fit 36 rounds of 7.62mm in those tiny magazines? Space magic!
While I like the gameplay of the MA5D from Halo 5, the sound and look of 4’s were perfect for me.
The Halo 4 Assault Rifle DESTROYED at close range. It devastated shields and ripped through flesh in seconds.
The halo 5 version hands down.

We need an MA5K in a prequel. A Ghosts of Onyx game would be great, simply because the Spartan-III’s don’t get enough love.

Personal favourite has to be a tie between the MA5B and the MA37, I prefer the looks of the MA37 but the 60 rounds was just awesome!
I really love the MA5K design, it looks very cool, and maybe a trifle more realistic, while I like the distinctive silhouette of the MA5 series they have always seemed unnecessarily bulky because of the electronics suite and flashlight and grip. Would love to see this design in the game. On a side note who here voted for the MA5C? That gun was an atrocious -Yoink!- that should never have been let out from the garbage can, and the sounds, UGH! Sounded like dried peas rattling around in a can!
With the MA37 design you have there I could totally see it having an integrated electronic sight instead of the ammo counter, with the bit above the barrel being a camera or scope.

It was brutal, I remember people begin for Bungie to change the sound on it, like a freaking BB gun it felt like.
