Favorite Leader? What Strategy you use?

So every time I play I like to make strategies with the leader I play. So far I have four favorites so far are Cutter, Kinsano, Forge, and Jerome. One I am most successful with is Forge so I’m gonna go with him with the strategy. My favorite strategy is when I get around the 2nd level of the Base when I can deploy different kinds of vehicle from warthogs, jackrabbits, and wolverines. I do a somewhat lighting hit and run attacks with hero (with upgrades and Anvil Round) on my opponent alongside leader powers. It takes some time, but it works for me as it when I do the 1st time they start putting defenses up and all, which gives me time to get resources up and other bases then I form another attack group and wait for counter then I throw a 2nd medium hit and run attack and when 3rd comes around I throw everything in on the 4th one, they usually quit or just let me destroy them. So I’m curious who’s your favorite leader, and whats your favorite strategy with them?

Favorite Leaders: Atriox, Colony, Yapyap, Arbiter

With Atriox I typically go fast expand with turrets and Suicide Grunts so that way I can transition into a vehicle/air army with a strong macro game. Colony I have a different approach against UNSC. I turtle until T2 spam Marauders and Rangers and then push out and cap some nodes and transition into a Locusts/Hunter Captain/Marauder composition. Late game I go to Blisterback and Wraith with 3-4 Locusts. Yapyap I just grind them down in a war of attrition. Simple as that.

And I stink with Arby, I just fail around but have fun doing it.

Currently? Probably Kinsano,

Rush with Marines and Hellbringers and keep the enemy suppressed until T2 [if you can’t eliminate them]. Then Flame Hogs, Infantry and Gales+/Hornets until you can push into T3. If you make it to T3, hopefully the game isn’t far from over. Just use Vultures mixed with Hogs, Wolvies and Tanks.

  1. Colony 2) Anders 3) Arby 4)Kinsano

I love walking around the field trolling with the Hunter Captain in the early and mid game while getting my hunter, ranger locust army up and running. Sometimes ill sprinkle in wraiths if they go sniper or ranger heavy to counter. Also with hunters brand, engi swarm, combat repair, and devastating host, he has probably the best combination of leaders power in the game.

Anders early/mid game is really fun because she can upgrade all types of units at the same time and can tech switch like no other leader. The retriever is also fun to drop and the sentinel beacon ability for siege turrets gives you unique forward power, possibly even the ability to continuously shell and drop sentinels on someone else’s base.

Arby’s enforcers are a really fun opening and teleport + suicide grunts can be devastating to any infantry opener. Conduit of Rage is probably the most unique late game combination of powers giving him a unique and refreshing play style.

I think the flame cyclops is a sleeper power house right now, it is very hast, has a very good health and packs a huge punch. Inferno wrecks infantry armies flame hogs are a great mid game unite and pair nicely with wolves and cyclopes. Finally, redline 2 is pretty much raid for vehicles which makes scorpions more practical and makes hornets as fast as a jackrabbit.

Anders: Focus on vehicles as a trick since people think I will use sentinels, and I use the Giant Sentinel as a substitute for the Condor and use it to aid allies while I use my main army to attack. I like to use Kodiaks and Siege turrets for my base.

Isabel: As Shipmaster I like to use mostly air vehicles so that I can utilize the ability to teleport away anti-air and use like 30 banshees at their bases. Early in the game I use cloaked grunts to buy me time to build up my resources.

All other leaders I usually just wing it.

My best strat-

Stop playing the game until Banished have a viable opener.

Variety is the spice of life. Spread your wings. Branch out. 4th try new things cliché.

I have been playing Isabel, but only when I have my 2s partner with me. 1v1 is nothing but Cutter/Kinsano I’m sure.

Dude, I don’t know, my allegiance was to Arbiter for a while, but when YapYap came out! When YAPYAP came out man!
He was and is one of my favourite heroes for introducing a little bit of silliness that was supposed to be bad, however turning into another deadly form of Banished military no matter how you look at it!

any ground army composition with 3 goblins works for me, having their abilitIsles being both protectors and Healers is beautiful in my opinion, a good exchange for not being the strongest of the bunch.

My favorite strategy is Kinsano, marine grenade throw, hero, hell bringer rush. I have an army consisting of 7 hell bringers, 9 marines, and kinsano’s hero with the first upgrade, all within the first 6 minutes. Though not to throw shade I’m just going to put my 2 cents on your strategy, try to help you develop your strategy and make it a bit better. Now, first you say that you like rushing jackrabbits. Though I wouldn’t recommend it since they were heavily nerfed a little while ago you can still use them to be viable. But if you are just starting rushing and learning the game then rush with marines and your hero, this works best with Jerome, grenades will rinse any scout rush/ army and marines recently got a huge buff making them extremely viable. Jack rabbits are weak with low health and like a said earlier VERY weak to grenades. Next with your forge hog upgraded plus a jackrabbit army, that’ll rinse anything. However, as you said it takes some time to get that army, if it takes even 10 minutes. to get that army started then the enemy will rush you making your life miserable and much harder. It’s especially true in 1v1s but even in 3s everywhere you go you find people who rush. Though you may not like it the current meta is rush or be rushed. And you’re on one side or the other.

In conclusion I think you should change your rush strategy but that’s just my opinion. Like I said your rush IS viable and usable but could use some rework. I’m always willing to talk about it in an xbox live party and give advice.(Keep in mind I’m no pro, just a guy giving his honest opinion)

In more detail, its not my top strategy its when they give me the time, just one of top 5 ones with this Leader. The Light and medium attacks are usually are used to draw them out, I usually I’d have Kodiaks in reserve waiting to see if they’ll chase me with another attack force at the ready. When the fighting starts I usually use the scatter bomb power on them and Grizzly Tank deployment in the rear of the enemy force. If the tanks survive the battle I suicide charge them to a enemy base (if they have one) alongside some hornet support. Gives me time to build another army. Only problem I have using this tactic so far is those playing YAPYAP with his “ceasefire” skill especially during a full on army battle. Was about to destroy the main base but he used that skill and surrounded me with Anti-vehicle units had to pull out.
