Favorite Helmet

With Halo 5 Guardians coming out soon with the new REQ system, i noticed some cool looking helmets and armor peices and started thinking about what my favorite helmet was in the Halo series. It was the probably the recon helmet because of how rare it was :-).

So the question is … what is your favorite helmet that you have unlocked in the Halo series? Is it the Ninja looking Hyabusa helmet? Maybe the classic Fishbowl EVA helmet? or maybe just the simple Mark V helmet ? Tell me in the comments section below !

Halo 3’s MK V helmet comes to mind. I prefer the visor use of markings compared to the original, Reach, 4 and CEA.
However, I love the honeycomb design of the modern Halo visors, so I may love the Halo 5 MK V. (Halo 4 also technically had the honeycomb design too, but it was much more subtle making the visor look flat.)

I’m also quite fond of Chief’s GEN2 MK VI helmet.

Mine is Mk VI, mainly 343’s version. I thought they made it look great compared to Bungies, and their more “classic” look made the old one look even better.

I like too many to have one all time favorite. Some of my favorites include Mark V, Recon, Venator.

Pathfinder is a big one for me! I really hope it’s in Halo 5, though it looks like it probably isn’t and like Vale’s helmet is its spiritual successor. Deadeye was another fav from Halo 4.

Security(I like both version but I prefer Halo: Reach’s version with [UA/HUL3] Attachment) ODST(Halo 3: ODST version, best one yet for obvious reasons), Helljumper(Don’t care what you think but I love the Goathorns on dat), CQB(Halo 3 Version)

Mark V (with the HUL attachment), simply the best.

I think halo 4 actually had some really good helmets, it just lacked interesting shoulder/body pieces. However, my favourites would probably be Operator and Rogue

halo 4: CIO, tracker, recruit, venator, warrior

Halo 5 (so far) Helioskrill, helljumper, athlon, anubis.
(I would list more but freaking rul goes to fast for me to catch every name lol)

As far as I’m aware Halo 5 doesn’t have a Mk V.

If it isn’t added post launch, I’m gonna go with Deadeye.
