Whats your favorite Halo game of all time and do you see yourself playing Infinite as much as that game?
My favorite Halo was and will always be H3,i have roughly about 8000-10000 games total(online,lan)
and despite Infinite having its issues i see myself easily matching those H3 numbers if they fix the whole lack of playlists issue.
Halo 3 i played competitively until 2014 7 years until i left to boot camp i dont see myself playing infinite as much asides from logging in once a year to play a couple of btb matches. In comparison i played halo 4 for about two months and halo 5 for one month after complete disappointments from 343
Halo 2 followed closely by 3. I’ve already made the decision I won’t be picking up my reserved copy this week until they fix all the issues. Not going to drop $60 for solo campaign and keep my fingers crossed they resolve everything when they have had 6 years already and only managed to release a subpar title.
I’ve enjoyed all the Halo games so far… and loved them all for different reasons.
In regards to multiplayer I’m feeling; H5 > H2 >> CE > Reach = H3 >> H4.
Where does Infinite fit in? Too early to tell… but it’s up there. To me it feels like a combo of H5 and H2. Gameplay feels awesome. I like the degree of mobility. Equipment seems to be working well (but I’ve only just started to scratch the surface).
It obviously needs some time to breathe; More maps / playlists. Forge. Scripting.
But we’re off to a great start. Ask me again in 6 months and I’m fairly confident Infinite will be my new #1.
im a old h2 player and i was sick in it. today all can play halo…infinite is a game for bobs…AR makes it possible.
Probably Reach. It had an awesome forge mode, my favorite Campaign, and although its MP was kind of a mess it still had some fun modes (Infection, BTB, Invasion)
Halo Infinite will claim its spot atop the Halo throne, it has all the potential, it’ll be another year before the game reaches its full potential.
CE is my all time favorite, that game just hit different. LAN parties really were just more fun than online gaming.
Halo 2 was the best Halo for me!! And at this point sadly I can say even Halo 5 was better than Infinite
Halo 2 has been my favorite overall Halo game for a long time now. Every other Bungie Halo does something different better, but it’s basically a Jack of all trades when it comes to enjoyment. As of now, Halo Infinite may be 343i’s best title (doubt the campaign will beat Halo 4’s), but even their best is only half as good as Bungie’s worst Halo; Reach, and Reach is still Amazing.

Halo Infinite 7/10
Infinite is good, but no where even on the same playing field as H3 so unless major changes and additions are done no, i will not play infinite anywhere close to the level i did H3.
CE for SP and being the first.
H5 for MP and in its current state, it still beats Infinite.
Halo 3 is my favorite. I have no idea how much time I put into that game, but it’s in the thousands of hours. I got 55 hours in Infinite so far and it has my favorite gameplay since H3, but I don’t see myself dumping that time into it. I was 12 when that game came out. I’m 26 now. I have a lot more responsibilities and a lot less time. Also, the game is just so dry of features at the moment. It may lose my attention unless the issues are addressed quickly.
H2 was better like all
Halo 3. Yes, I see myself dumpling ungodly amounts of time into Infinite.
My favourite is Halo Reach. So far it still is my favourite. Halo Infinite feels a little more smooth to play though.
Customization from Reach is the best customization I have ever seen in any multiplayer game. Whatever you did, you got credits. Did good? Performance bonus. Consecutive game finishes? Chance for a jackpot and higher rewards. Didn’t go great? Well there is still the slotmachine that can give you extras. With those credits you could buy whatever you had unlocked with your rank. And as you played, your rank went up and up. And when you saw an inheritor in your game. Whoah nelly did you know they played alot. It was cool.
Now… We have this.
My favorite is Halo 2 followed closely by 5. I don’t see myself playing infinite nearly as much as I played those. After I finish the achievements I will probably move on to other games and only occasionally Halo with my friends.
Probably a tie between Halo 3 & Reach vs Infinite.
Halo CE hands down will always be my favorite. The one that started it all. All night LAN parties with friends, beating the campaign over and over, the suspense when meeting the flood for the first time in the swamp. Don’t think any Halo game will ever top the fun I had back then.
With that said H2 was my favorite that had the ability to play on LIVE.
reach is my number one for sure. I can definitely see myself matching or beating it.

I will not be playing more Infinite than 3 because I was single with no kids, and had single friends when 3 came out. Relationships screw up everything…lol!
For the record, Halo CE is last, but is still freaking great! I think all of the Halos are extremely good FPSs.
