Ive always wondered what other people think about halo characters. Whats your favorite? Mine would have to be Miranda Keyes. even though shes not a playable character i still think shes pretty bad -Yoink- just like her father
Thel Vedam was amazing
also was really cool to meet his voice actor in person
along with john-117
I really like Rtas 'Vadum, the Special Operations Commander of the Covenant (aka Half-Jaw). He’s so badass and he survived an encounter with the Flood. Barely anyone survives the Flood. Also, he’s Spec-Ops. Who doesn’t love Spec-Ops? And then there’s this line:
Sangheili Major: “Brute ships! Staggered line! Ship Master, they outnumber us, three to one!”
Rtas 'Vadum: “Then it is an even fight. All cruisers fire at will. Burn their mongrel hides!”
Arbiter and Shipmaster in Halo 2
Master Chief all the way.
Arby by far.
Either the Arbiter or Sergeant Johnson.
Edward Buck ODST, Foehammer CE, And Chief
Rookie, for his amazing personality.
I think Buck is pretty awesome, good character, lots of interesting backstory
Johnson, Buck, Arby, Guilty Spark and Cortana are probably my top 5 side characters
Sargent Forge!!! Halo Wars, The way he kills the arbiter and sacrifices him self to save every one , its a great moment in Halo.
M favorite character is dutch from H3 ODST.

You met Keith David?!
For me, it’s Spartan-312. S-312 was the only other Spartan other then Master Chief to be classified as a hyper-lethal vector and made the final victory against the Covenant possible.
From the beginning of Reach, Six is a silent warrior with a long background of military history: he was a lone assassin that took down entire Insurrectionist groups and a test pilot for the SABRE Program. At Visegrad Relay, he proved himself to Noble Team when he and Jorge killed all three Elite Zealots and got comms back up. Later, he defended the ONI base on Reach and scouted out Covenant positions on the planet with Jun, discovering that a huge Covenant army was deploying onto the surface. The next day, his role in the assault on the Covenant army was pivotal for UNSC victory in the area, but a large Covenant ship dominated the space above Reach.
When Noble Team devised a plan to destroy the Covenant supercarrier above, Six was the centerpiece of the plan: he and Jorge infiltrated a Covenant ship (after destroying huge amounts of Covenant forces in space with kick–Yoink- Sabres) and set it on a collision course with the Covenant supercarrier, but Jorge had to stay behind to detonate the slipspace bomb once the two ships collided. Thrown out of the Covenant ship, Six landed in New Alexandria, assisting in the evacuation of hundreds of civilians and keeping Jiralhanae forces at bay. Once Noble Team reconnected with the lone soldier, the follow-up mission in New Alexandria was as deadly and effective as the last; with Six’s experience in piloting, he flew around the city and made hell for the Covenant. Unfortunately, the aliens nuked the city and Kat was killed in the following chaos. Six’s conviction to protect humanity had kept him firm, and the battle continued with no time for grieving.
The four remaining soldiers of Noble Team returned to the ONI base for a torch and burn operation: Six, in a Scorpion tank, decimated Covenant positions in the area, destroying dozens of Shade Turrets, Ghosts, Banshees, a Revenant, and two Anti-Aircraft guns. His skill ensured that Noble got into the base and defended it in a twist of plans when Dr. Halsey called upon the team to protect her lab while she downloaded important data into Cortana; Six was tasked with brining Cortana to the Pillar of Autumn in the war-torn ship-breaking yards at Aszod.
Cortana picked Six for a reason, so he, Carter, and Emile set out for Aszod in a Pelican dropship. Ambushed by Banshees, Carter was mortally wounded and the two remaining Spartans were forced to continue on the ground. Making their way through dozens, even hundreds, of Covenant troops, the Spartans were stopped by a Scarab, but Carter sacrificed himself to destroy it. The ground team, unbroken, continued, and managed to shoot their way through a Covenant army to the Pillar of Autumn. The two Spartans split up to defend the ship as it prepared for lift-off: Emile took the MAC gun, when Six took the ground. Emile provided cover from Phantoms and Six defended the landing pad until Captain Keyes could arrive and take Cortana. Emile was, however, assassinated by a Zealot team, so Six stayed behind to cover the Autumn while it lifted off from the planet. Ultimately, dozens of Phantoms and a Covenant cruiser were destroyed by him, but finally, the Autumn left Reach with war-winning data and hardware.
Six, now all alone, fought the rest of the Covenant army at Aszod, battling for hours until he was stabbed by Elites. Even then, he went down fighting till the last drop of blood, laying on top of a pile of his fallen enemies. Noble Six, for his determination, combat skill, and heroic actions, is by far my favorite protagonist of the Halo series.
The Rook in ODST. Silent and freaking human. Human. Halo is a fantastic universe, but according to me, the videogames focus too much on the superhumans, forgetting about the volunteers who fight the war without fancy armors, biological developments, etc etc.
Sgt. Johnson for his -Yoinking!- funny lines, and because he has a great character.
031 Exuberant Witness, I love her voice.
Arbiter, Chief, Cortana. And Emile obviously.
