What is your favorite halo book? mine has to be Ghosts of Onyx.

It kinda felt like the middle dragged on a bit too long, but i did read it when I was 9 so maybe I’ll read it again.

Yeah, you’ll probably appreciate the writing more now that you’re older. That’s happened to me a lot.
Fall of Reach (Original). Remember reading that before Halo: Reach was released, was a great build-up to the event in Halo:CE and provides a large amount of information into not only the history of John-117 but the Spartans in general as well.

I’ve only read a bit of harvest but it is really interesting so far.
I’d say First Strike or Contact Harvest.
Fall of reach and the forerunner saga is really good
I’ve been dropping in and out of Halo books. Ever since the destruction of my Xbox due to the infamous and Red Ring of Death, and my inability to replace or repair it in time. I’m left permanently Halo impaired. But recently, I’ve been getting back into the story of Halo just as I did 2 years ago. Despite everything. I’ve got the majority of the Halo books, but haven’t got around to read them till now. From the ones I have read though so far, my favourite has to be “The Fall of Reach.” Close second is “First Strike.”
The Fall of Reach is definitely my favorite. Runners up: the Kilo-Five trilogy, they were actually extremely well written and had some great lore, psychology, and philosophy punched in throughout.
Really, the Forerunnner saga was the only set of books that I didn’t enjoy though.
Ghost of Onyx is one of my favourites followed by Cryptum and Fall of Reach.
Contact Harvest. I adored that we got to experience the Covenant Perspective, especially from the Brutes and how their culture functions.

Ghost of Onyx, that final fight was so thrilling even when reading it and then the finale with Kurt just suited him and all the stuff they did in honor of him afterwards was pretty damn cool to. Like renaming Onyx when it came back to be his actual name Trevelyan.
