Favorite Halo Book Moment?

I’ve seen many topics top about favorite this, or favorite that. So I figured I’d throw myself into the mix. What is your favorite moment in a Halo Book? It doesn’t matter who wrote it, as long as it is published and is considered canon.

I can’t really pick a single moment. But, if i had to, it would probably be:

When the Spartan II’s were dropped on the mountain and had to fend for themselves. They were told to leave someone behind but John wouldn’t allow it.

Or

When John fights off 4 ODST’s after he entices one by removing a pin from a weight, causing it to fall apart. All after his augmentation, making him much faster and stronger than they are.

So leave your opinion, and maybe we could all have a nice, friendly debate.

Definitely Kurt’s sacrifice in Ghosts of Onyx. Nearly teared up for a fictional character.

I would have to say when the “Keyes Loop” was first executed. That was awesome.

Battle of the Capital or Faber’s Last Stand

Gage’s sacrifice and the last battle of the Headhunters on Halo Evolutions

I’m going to have to say my all time favorite moment was Linda’s first mission after her coma. She’s just come back from the dead, and she’s hanging upside down in a covenant ship on a light sniping Elites out of banshees one-handed.

That has to be the best friggin’ thing any Spartan has done, ever.

She is the best SPARTAN-II for a reason buddy.

Easily my favorite part in the Halo books would have to be Kurt’s sacrifice. “Don’t you know? Spartans never die.”

God -Yoink!- here come the tears.

Will taking on the hunters with his bare hands in Ghosts of Onyx. Secondly, Kurt’s sacrifice and his bad*** line. “Die? Didn’t you know? Spartans never die.” Ghosts of onyx was such a great book.

I totally forgot about Will vs the Hunters. I should really go back and read Ghost of Onyx again.
