What’s your favorite game mode/playlist? Personally I really enjoy the large scale maps with lots of players and access to vehicles like BTB and Warzone. I can also occasionally find a good custom game from time to time.
Big Team CTF is probably my favorite. It’s great in every Halo game, and Halo 5 is no exception. The maps in this one aren’t always the best for it though.
As someone who is trying to get to 152… it’s definitely gonna be the warzone family. Heroic firefight was totally my speed, but once they brought back mythic and made it permanent, that’s what I’m sticking to in order to make the grind less of a chore. I’m also a big fan of Warzone Turbo because since I’m not that good, I usually don’t get to unlock all of my reqs in a normal firefight, so I love the fact that all my reqs are unlocked right from the start. As I said, I’m pretty bad at the PVP type stuff like slayer, swat and CTF, etc. So I generally stay away from those…

SWAT is my go to for ranked. Its nice and fast paced.

For a competitive game? SWAT. It’s quick and rewards skill. Makes me crazy sometimes, though. For fun? BTB.
Super fiesta party, and quick play/ ranked slayer.
Super Fiesta, Big Team Battle, Slayer, and Action Sack
Definitely Warzone, it’s almost all what i have been expected since Halo CE: a big map with a lot of players killing each other.

Actually loving the ODST slayer mode right now. It provides a perfect shake up to the gun meta.
Castle Wars is also some of the most fun I’ve ever had playing Halo.
Finally Fiesta and Big Team Fiesta are a blast.

Its fun, its stress free, both zombies and survivors actually have some more even ground than in previous games and it beats playing Husky Raid and losing 6 times in a row because one guy got an Extermination and they capped the flag.
Warzone Firefight is cool too and Im glad its there but sometimes its a bit grating. I think I prefer the smaller maps on offer in game but it can be pretty satisfying too.
Slayer honestly
I really do like BTB and warzone, not the firefight part just the PVP aspect, although I could feel like the map rotation itself could be improved.

Its literally the easiest gamemode ever. Being last man is only stressful when you have to reload or are at massive risk of being flanked
