Favorite Forerunner Weapon

From footage we have seen so far, which forerunner weapon seems to be your favorite. I like the scatter shot so far, seems to have good spread plus I like the disintegration effect from killing an enemey. Here are two screenshots of the weapons in case you need a reference.

light rifle definitely because it actually functions in a unique way and isn’t just some sort of variation on the pre-existing guns.

btw there’s probably many more forerunner weapons in halo 4 so its kind of weird for us to say what our favorite one is out of the 2 we’ve seen.

I love them both because they’re creative … but however I liked the SS more

I dont care. I just want to watch the weapon pick up animations for them over and over again

Just curious, seeing that there are two of them to compare. I also asked what other forerunner weapons would you like to see in the game as well besides those two.

Why pick now? It’s early and I haven’t seen the 3 mystery weapons in action on Light rifle in mm.

I know that others are going to be revealed, but I’m asking which one so far is your favorite. I’m just curious of the communities opinion on the subject.

not really sure, I would really like it if I could perhaps spawn a bunch of crawlers around me like the watchers can but we all know 343 won’t do that. I’m also kind of expecting to see a promethean grenade of sorts, not sure how it would work but its still worth watching I imagine.

I really hope there are some battery powered weapons in the mix. They all seem to be magazine/shell based weapons that need to be reloaded, that makes sense for the UNSC but I would hope for some Plasma Rifle/Beam Rifle/Sentinel Beam style Forerunner weapons in H4.

This is 343i’s chance to add a load of cool Forerunner tech and weapons into the game, I doubt that they’d leave out the sentinel beam. There’ll probably be a few weapons like it as well.

OT: I like the scattershot, I haven’t seen near as much footage of the light rifle yet.

Oh yea, they still haven’t revealed the other two grenade types. I hope at least one of them is forerunner.

If I had to pick, then it would be light rifle. I find much satisfaction in shooting laser beam rounds, than chucking hot fireballs out of a gun.

Also, if and when the sentinel beam returns, it will replace my decision for the Light rifle.

ya know I really wish they would get around to making flood based weapons, but I guess I can wait til halo 5 or 6 comes out.

Agreed, the sentinel beam is a classic.
