Favorite cut-scene in all of the halo games?

My favorite is red team vs the elites and seargent forge killing the arbiter. (Halo Wars)

The Red Team and Forge vs Honor Guards and Arbiter is really good. But my favorite one is the ending to “The Storm” on Halo 3, where everyone and their aunt fires at the Keyship. My only complaint is that it wasn’t longer.

The Skeleton Crew cut scene from the game, Halo Reach.

Hmm, probably the one were those Spartans are killing the elites in Halo Wars 1 on the bridge. Or the arbiter cutsecne in Halo 2.

‘Home Field Advantage’ - Halo 2 [Anniversary]

The juxtaposition of Chief’s success with Thel’s failure is fantastic in this scene.
Showing Thel being publicly condemned for his ‘heretical’ actions while Chief is being lauded as a hero, is a powerful method of establishing their similarities while highlighting their key differences, and it’s brilliantly executed.

The Zealot ambush scene from Halo Reach on the mission Winter Contingency

Ooch, got to be between the
HW Red team V Elites Cutscene

OR

Purely because of Arbiters one liner.

The cutscene where Miranda Keyes dies.

Most of Halo 2 or that HW scene were Red fighting against Elites.

Never thought I would get so many replies… wow…

Personally not a fan of the bridge fight in Halo Wars…

Anyway.

My favorite would probably be the opening cutscene of Halo 3: ODST. First-person orbital drop is awesome.

Probably the intro to the ark. So many good ones though.

Blue Team’s entrance in the opening of Blue Team.
Four S-IIs just casually step off the back of a Pelican, swoop through an asteroid field, blast their way into a secured facility, and flush twice their number of Sangheili out the airlock, Fred casually avoiding an energy sword.
In one motion they show just how EFFECTIVE the S-IIs actually are, and once and for all show the superiority of the Spartans.

Yeah that definitely is a good one,if we count halo 2 anniversary I might go with chief giving the covenant back their bomb

I liked the Prophet of Mercy death scene in anniversary graphics.

Especially when the phantoms take off it looks amazing.

In Halo 2, the beginning cutscene of Delta Halo. I love the ODST pods.

Same here! The anniversary graphics really brings this scene alive.

Another favorite of mine is the opening cinematic to Halo 5.

I don’t think that ODST drop is a cutscene. I think it’s a skippable QTE.

My favorite is probably giving the Covenant back their bomb from Halo 2A, the Didact’s speech from Halo 4, or the Destruction of the Enduring Conviction from Halo Wars 2. What can I say, I like my CGI cutscenes.

I hardly consider it a quick-time event. More a first-person cutscene, to me.

Then what’s the difference between that and the first few seconds of the level Osiris, where Osiris jumps into the ice canyon and sees the ship debris destroy the Covenant in front of them?

Nothing, really. I’ve just never considered either to be quick-time events since there’s no real interaction or button mashing required.
