Mister Chief!
I’d have to say Mendicant Bias.
For several months I have been mentally working on an article going over his character and it stumps me. Even though it is my favorite character I don’t think there is a method for me to properly convey how significant of a character Mendicant Bias is and what it stands for.
To me, Mendicant Bias is comparable (in lore significance) to Lord Gwyn in Dark Souls. So many things happened because of “him” you could say the Halo Series is about “him”.

I’m just curious, but why? I’ve never seen anyone claim that Gek was their favourite, I’d love to hear why he’s yours.
My favourite has to be Frederic-104. John-117 is a close second.

Equally so.

I’ve always liked Gek’s display of honour and loyalty, he sets a perfect example of what a Sangheili warrior should live up to. This can best be seen with his attitude towards Jul 'Mdama, and it’s evidentially so that Jul respects him in return (which must have been admirably earned due to 'Mdama’s rank) This is further backed up by the fact Jul hand-picks him to be put in command of units which ensure his protection. His brashness towards Humans is unquestionable, making his actions swift and decisive (Which is appealing to me as my favourite faction is Covenant Loyalism). He also shows great persistence to his cause, for example: Personally tracking down Thorne and Glassman.
I’m also fond of Gek’s battle hardened persona. This can be seen by the scare down the left of his eye which tells me he is no stranger to intense combat zones, this is extended upon by the fact that he foregoes wearing a helmet which examples his courageousness on the field. He also has killed numerous Spartan IV’s, again, proving him to be an incredibly worthy threat to the UNSC. (He also escaped the Midnight Facility after an attack on Earth)
Sorry if that was a bit lengthy, but there are some reasoning’s behind by favouritism with Gek as a character.

Don’t apologise for the length mate, thank you. I liked Gek before but I genuinely like his character even more after seeing your explanation.
Gravemind
Jameson Locke.
Dr. Halsey. She is basically everything I would want to be as a person, flaws and all. Prefer to keep my arm though.
If not S-117 then I would say Jorge. Something about his personality and character is just inspiring… Especially after destroying Long Night of Solace.
Beamish the janitor
Bornstellar Makes Eternal Lasting. A great character and I hope we get to see more of him. He actually made me interested in (part of) Primordium.
Didact
Sgtmjor Jhonson halo’s 1-3
hmm. I would have to say it’s a tie between The Rookie, Johnson, Forge, Jorge, Palmer, Cortana and the Master Chief
John and Linda.
