Hello, I have a question. What are your favorite characters in video games so far especially from First Person Shooter video games, Fighting games and Open World video games?
Personally, my favorite video game characters are:
Master Chief and Arbiter from Halo
Delta Squad from Star Wars: Republic Commando
Sub-Zero and Scorpion from Mortal Kombat
Jin Kazama from Tekken
Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter
Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton and Trevor Phillips from Grand Theft Auto 5

Is it possible? Have I found another disciple of Fred? The scriptures say another wouldn’t arrive for a hundred years… but here you are!
1 BT and Viper from Titanfall
2 Halo guy
3 Dante from the Devil May Cry series
4 Ibuki and Guile from Street Fighter
5 Asuka Kazama from Tekken
6 2b from Nier Automata
7 Unicorn Gundam from Gundam Dynasty Warriors 3
8 Kenshiro from Kens Rage
9 Lara Croft from Tomb Raider
As a pure mercenary character, Blisk does not take action against you as a protag as a personal matter, rather that it is business. If his contract expired and he hadnt managed to kill you, then he wouldn’t bother trying to kill you. He doesnt work for free.
I for one appreciate such characters, I hate that “Merc with a heart of gold” crap. I also hate it when characters like that overstep boundaries to be flat out evil when in truth they should just be there for the cash.
As for a Halo character specifically, my favourite is the Dumb AI Auntie Dot, only seen in Halo: Reach. I like the voice actor making her sound mostly robotic and yet she still comes off as almost empathetic, most notably towards the later end of the campaign.
I enjoy more robotic AI personalities than the more human like Cortana or Roland AI.

Lol I love how Blisk says to General Marder “You should have put it in my contract”

A bunch of the units from Company of Heroes. Airborne? Click on them too many times and you might get “Does your mama know you’re a f**king idiot?!” and (I forget what German unit it is) will say “They didn’t say anything about idiots running the show”, also when clicked too many times. My favorite is when a German Stormtrooper squad gets Panzershrecks: “Panzerschrecks! Time to unpimp his ride!”
Favorite Halo character has gotta be Buck, especially after you read the Blood books. My first Halo game was ODST, so I never had Master Chief around as a kid. I grew up during the primetime of Call of Duty so Captain Price is a close second.

And then, at the end of the game?
Dropping the Apex Predator calling card on BT’s visor? Perfect for his character.
