I’ve gotta ask this, because I play TONS of 3v3 games on Halo Wars and that there are only three 3v3 maps on Halo Wars (I am not including the DLC), so I am wondering what everyone else’s favorite 3v3 map is and why.
IMO, my favorite map is Fort Deen, because of the symmetry of the map and the fact that there are barriers in the middle of the map to keep your enemies away from your bases for a limited time (unless they go through the teleporter). Plus, there is plenty of room for ground units to move about and, in general, the battles, IMO, just seem to be the most fun of the three maps.
So, again, what is your favorite 3v3 map and why?
My definate favorite 3v3 map is Frozen Valley, whether you’re on Standard, Reinforcement or Deathmatch you have multiple bases to use, if you’re Covenant, your leader can become 2 stars in just a few minutes and you get more room to expand. Once you get into the enemy territory you can just build full shield generators to force the enemy to keep engaging the base and less on the defending units. For humans, Cutter is at a great advantage here, he starts with a 1/3 chance of having a Forerunner Generator right next to him, he can send a marine to capture it and easily get ODSTs in the first 5 minutes of the battle. There are also a few scout towers for marines to use to keep an eye on the enemy, and the fact that the supply crates are used in great quantities compared to other maps.
Exile due to reactors and being able to rush nubz.

Fort deen for map control
Frozen valley for the wide area
Exile for effectively anti rushing and map placement
(I made someone quit because I killed around 30 of his teammates units in the first 4-5 minutes, all because he tried to get the reactors next to his base. but 4 hunters and 5 jackals upgraded twice counter a lot early game.)
Fort Deen is my favorite because it’s great for stalemates in the center area.
Put up some marines to activate the shields, and then line up a bunch of cobras on the other side to defend it.
But when you realize the enemy uses a hoard of Sparrowhawks to obliterate them, it makes you rage so much lol
Great Halo Wars memories. 2 of my best matches were on this map and lasted about an hour each.
