Has anyone else with the Minecraft issue tried submitting a ticket? If you do submit one, it may help to attach the crash log files to the ticket. MCC seems to create a folder at the below location with 3 files every time it crashes. Make sure they match the date/time of the crash caused by Minecraft. If you’re not sure, maybe cause the crash again and pay attention to the new folder that gets created.
Same issue here, I have Halo Master Chief and it crashes on startup. None of the suggested workarounds are working for me. It’s extremely frustrating.
Finally, I tried turning on Airplane Mode on my laptop. The game runs fine. Then I Alt+Tabbed out of the game, turned on Airplane Mode again … the game throws the same fatal error within 1 minute!
So, you can try playing offline to prevent the error forcing the game to crash.
Same issue here, I’ve tried literally everything at this point, even rebooting windows. I am on Windows 11 and all of my PC friends are on Windows 10 so not sure if that is the issue.
I contacted support and they gave me a very handwavy “we have no solution for you now but we will pass it on to developers”
This needs more attention. My friend was losing his mind trying everything to fix this issue by uninstalling MCC, Steam, Windows 10, and Game Bar just to find out that it was only a simple fix of just having his girl friend sign out of his account while she played Minecraft. Couldn’t imagine how many other people are struggling with this same issue but Microsoft should be rewarding you for figuring this out.
I think i figured it out, it has something to do with Microsoft account being logged in multiple devices. So I logged in to the Xbox App on pc logged out, did the same thing on Xbox.com and logged back into the Xbox app and it didn’t give me the error. Try that and see if that helps.
I believe I found another way. I tried all the ones above as well as just messing with it but I remembered that some games for some reason don’t work when you are on them while it is loading. Open up Google or anything else possibly and then start up the MCC. Switch to the Google tab and let MCC do its thing and once you hear the main menu music after the loading and intro, switch to it. I hope this works for y’all and good luck.
It seems that the fatal error issue for me came back once more and this time I noticed that when Windows Firewall popped up and I clicked one of the options, it would enable the crash. I disabled my firewall protection networks for both versions of the game and it works now.
