I am new to Halo but right now I’m level 28, since I saw the greatest hits customization pack just came out I wanted to know what’s the fastest way to get REQ points?
Unfortunately, I haven’t done any extensive data collection related to req points payout besides a brief overview over the req point payouts from Mythic Warzone Firefight. This has resulted in the finding that you will get around 3700 req points per Mythic Warzone Firefight game if no boosts are used.
If I remember correctly, the corresponding Warzone boosts had the following req point payout.
-
Uncommon RP Boost: 1000 req points - Rare RP Boost: 1500 req points - Ultra Rare RP Boost: 2000 req points - Legendary RP Boost: 5000 req points - Rare RP Jackpot: ? - Ultra Rare Mission: Victory: ?However, something that has a much higher importance than maximizing the req point payouts is to use the req points as efficiently as possible. This is done by spending the minimum amount of req points for each individual permanent item and this is done by the following process.
-
Get all Common, Uncommon, Rare items from Silver Packs until the permanent items gets replaced with req points - Get all Ultra Rare and Legendary items from Gold Packs until the permanent items gets replaced with req points - Unlock the Woodland Mongoose and Tundra Mongoose Certification from Bronze PacksIn addition to that, it’s also helpful to sell off a large portion of the most useless none permanent req cards with the exception of boosts, power weapons and vehicles that holds a significant importance.

Just an FYI: long run XP is harder to get so I’d recommend using XP boosts where possible.
Mythic Warzone Firefight will deplete your collection although it is probably the fastest way to earn XP and RP
Mythic FF 2 to 3 games gets you a lot of everything and you don’t even have to win. If you play a lot of what you like and use boosts even if they’re gambit and you don’t get the boost then you are still accumulating req and experience points. I just play a lot of mythic FF or featured warzones and when I want to change it up I hit area features or whatever else I feel like.
The greatest hits customisation isn’t worth it.I bought it as I had 488000 req point and only got 2 armour pieces. And 3 weapon skins.
If you really want to annoy yourself just go and buy it.
Mythic FF the best way to go, even if you dont win you still get a generous amount of req.
