Also setting and doing custom challenges (you can do it on this website) along with the daily and weekly challenges can earn you a ton of credits.
Oh and make sure to play during Jackpot weekends for more credit bonuses (343 usually gives out huge jackpot rewards).

Griffball if you win. You can easily earn 10,000+ in just a 10 minute game. Also helps if in between the rounds last long so you get a bunch of kills.

Grifball. Stalling the ball-holders (both enemy and even teammate)and dragging the matches out for a long time between rounds can let you rack up Kills, Multikills, Avenges, Killing Frenzy’s, KillJoys, and even maybe an assasination on any afk guys. Today I did all of this, completed 2 challenges (earn 3 double kills and win 10 games in matchmaking) and totalled up to about 9,000 cr. All in like 15 mins.
Firefight or Grifball. Grifball’s win bonus can give you a lot of credits if you drag the match out, but I think it’s more enjoyable when you actually try to score whenever you get a chance.

Grifball- Stall the ball until sudden death
Firefight- Get 10-20 kills and find a nifty little hiding spot to sit in for the next 15 minutes
Invasion- hold back and get spawn sprees
BTB- Hog the tank if you can
BTB + Invasion + SWAT + Custom Challenges = SUPER Jackpot. Your eyes actually turn into €£$!!!
