Faster XP Offline?

I do not have an Xbox Live Gold subscription nor am I really interested in the idea of paying to play online. I still play video games with local friends often via splitscreen etc., though, so I’d appreciate a way of earning XP faster as there are still a few loadout options I need to buy.

What objective gametype earns you the most XP and what are the best settings etc. to potentially boost that XP further?

With an Xbox LIVE Silver account, do Challenges still appear for you if you have an internet connection? If so, you can do the campaign based challenges for additional XP. I’m not sure if Halo 4 is the same way in terms of challenges as it’s Reach counterpart. I would recommend using the Glyph codes that don’t have any prerequisite for additional XP, but from what I understand the 360 Waypoint app is extremely buggy anymore and they don’t work most of the time, that is if you haven’t used Glyph codes.

As in terms of Objective Based gametypes in custom games(Or just any custom game in general), I believe for that, the max XP you can earn per game is 1000 XP and that from my experience is time based (Longer game means more XP). Might be worth looking into with experimentation to see if you find anything new with this in terms of gametypes.

Edit: I seen your post in the Halo: Reach part of the forums and realized your profile isn’t a LIVE Silver account, that it is offline. Nevermind then.

Campaign challenges are the only ones that can be done without Gold, but the others appear too. Halo Waypoint, unfortunately, requires Gold to have any functionality (with what functionality remains being very minimal.)

The 1000 XP limit seems accurate.

My account is an Xbox Live Silver one just like anyone else with access to these forums must at least have. The “offline” thing on this website simply shows that I’m not online on my Xbox at the moment.
