Faster Shield Regeneration

does anyone think shields should be able to regenerate faster in the arena?

i only ask because compared to other halo’s i for some reason never have any time in between encounters with the enemy team.

90 percent of the time i kill someone i am immediately killed by another player due to my shields still being so low.

I can understand if they are two players i encounter at one time, but im talking about when i am simply just trying to have my shields recharge but can’t because now that sprint and thrusting is implemented it is very easy for more opposing players to cover ground.

It doesn’t help that a lot of the maps are so small and the radar is smaller so it’s hard to really get in a safe position and not have to worry about someone coming out of nowhere.

With the weapons and grenades buffed it’s so hard to try and take on more than one player at a time. In other halo’s i wouldn’t worry about encountering two players because i could easily fend them off, but I now dread anytime i see multiple players together.

Short answer, No.

I do believe they are balanced as they are, it takes 5 seconds for the recharge delay to stop and start recharging again, that seems fine imo, but others might think differently.

They only seem slightly slower then previous Halo’s, but its probably due to the fact we now see an actual timer untill the sheilds recharge. When you see somethings thats always been hidden you start to think its working differently then it did in the past, a good example of this was when Reach came out with recoil/bloom being visable. Oh how people raged…

It should be a little faster, I mean I was in a short fire fight which resulted in me surviving and no shields, just standing there waiting took a good 15 seconds. Other times it would recharge the moment I stopped moving.

Don’t understand it one bit.

Totally! should also recharge while sprinting!
