Are you able to bring in a full party into either CTF or BTB and farm Mongoose kills? And is it bannable? Also, if not, would anyone be up for a Mongoose farming party? I do all my commendations legit, but this one is just taking way too long. I even did Plasma Pistol. Mongoose was not well thought out.
It is called boosting and it is a bannable offense that will bring shame and ridicule to your family name for generations to come.
I thought boosting was using a guest or something and only killing that person. If you play with a full party of people and are killing them legitimately but everyones just driving on Mongooses, how is that boosting? It’s just like using only one weapon the whole round, except you’re choosing the mongoose as your weapon. It’s more like grinding.

Yes you can play with full partys and none will get banned as long as all of you are playing and getting at least 1 kill each.

Unless there are four Mongooses per Big Team than I would consider it boosting. Every person needs to be on a Mongoose at all times or else what are other people doing? They are waiting in the back for a Mongoose not killing anyone and that is boosting.
Maybe you could have a game of Spartan Lasers only where people “happen” to ride in Mongooses and “happen” to get blown up by Spartan Lasers since it’s the only gun allowed. However, I don’t see how this would be possible since Spartan Lasers aren’t a loadout weapon.
Take it in tuns to stomp on them (sorry about your cow)

I was thinking just blowing up people on mongooses, then while we wait for them to spawn, we play like normal slayer. Everyone fights like normal until the mongooses spawn again.
This isn’t bannable, right? I’d rather not get the commendation done than get banned.

are you trying to destroy mongooses or get kills with them? it sounds like you are trying to get kills with a mongoose and I don’t think that is even a commendation.

Okay… This sounds a lot like normal CTF/Slayer to me.

The idea is that you are shooting the mongoose as it drives over the cliff on Settler or such. When it blows up, you get the vehicle kill.
Which honestly is one of the few ways to get it to happen.
But I wouldn’t risk it, one commendation is not worth banning your whole group.
Maybe we’ll get lucky and eventually they’ll put in Rocket Race or something.

I don’t think you can destroy mongooses in rocket race (or can you?).

It still took a bit of doing, but yeah you could.
There were like 20 of the things in the level (5 per team), so you could always replace them.
This isn’t going to work… You can only bring a full party for your team, not both teams. Destroying the mongooses on your own team doesn’t count.
