Farming Marines?

I’m currently trying to complete commendations for my spartan company, and one of them is to kill marines. I am curious if farming marines in Warzone at the enemy’s home base is allowed? If you don’t know, there’s a way to get into their base when it’s closed. You need someone from the enemy team to drive you in. If you want to see it yourself, look up, “Halo 5 - Marine Farming Explained in 90 Seconds!” on YouTube.

I’m not going in with the intention to wait and destroy their core if and when it opens. I only want to farm marines, and doing that in the enemy’s home base is the easiest way to get 80+ in a single Warzone game without very many disturbances. I’m just worried about getting me or my spartan company in trouble for cheating or some other reason. Does anyone know how “safe” it is to farm this way? Or should I stick to killing less marines at the smaller bases and abandon the idea of farming marines at the enemy’s home base? Thanks.

I have done this, sort of…when your team has 3 bases, you can creep into the enemy base (invisible). Hide at the back and hope the enemy team re-capture a base. Then you can start killing marines. Do it with some stealth, try to get 1 shot head kills. It’s not cheating as the core has its cover over it and only opens and becomes vulnerable when 3 bases are captured, so you can’t actually cheat.

Considering that you can triple-cap the enemy, get into their base, and stay there after the enemies have capped a base, I’d say it’s allowed. The act of having someone glitch you into the base is cheap, though.

Alright, thanks. I’ve actually done that before, but it’s challenging because I either get spotted or there are too many explosive weapons and vehicles out for me to get through without taking damage and becoming visible. It’s very possible, though, because as I said I did it myself. I just need to learn to pick the right moments to sneak in so I’m not caught.
I suppose what I meant in my original post is that the risk is going into the enemy’s home base before I’m supposed to. Many would view that as cheating and think that I’m trying to wait and destroy their core before I’m even supposed to be in there. Of course, that’s not at all what I want to do, but it’s easy to see it that way. People may report me if I’m caught. I guess it’s just a risk I’d have to be willing to take, though. Thanks for your response!

Glitching in is definitely a cheap method, haha. I feel slightly guilty even considering it because it’s not something that should be done. I just figure that since all I want is to farm marines, it’s not the worst thing I could do. I’m not sure I’m going to do it yet, though, because of the risk of getting reported if people catch me and assume I’m cheating. We’ll see. Thanks for your response!
