Farmers and their crops

A sad thing is that farmers will never understand what the problem is with farming, and crops will never understand why people enjoy farming.
I don’t think that the two sides will ever truly understand each other, meaning that this argument will never end. People will always argue and there will be another division of the community - first sprint, then AAs, and now this.
As long as their is something to grind for, people will farm and people will complain, and no one will understand the other side

this is gonna start an argument

They do understand, they just don’t care.

These posts get old real quick. Every time.

If you check my warzone history you’ll see sometimes we go 1000 to less than 100 and sometimes its vice versa, its not exactly farming to crops but still getting decimated to decimating does help because every time its 100-1000 the team always say this is probably payback for going 1000-100 last game

I think above all the worst thing they are doing is destroying the Halo population even more. People come online to enjoy Halo and after getting absolutely destroyed multiple times they say the hell with this and move on. It’s killing the population…

You are ALL my crops <3

TBH I live for sweaty Warzone. My company is one of the most reputable Warzone companies in the game, and the sweaty games are always intense. However, I don’t want to play sweaty games back to back to back, so a ranked WZ is out for me. I like to kick it back and relax in between by farming some scrubs.

I am keenly aware of the issues with farming, but here’s my perspective:

  • No reward for scoring the core, especially if done before 10 minutes. There isn’t even a medal. The company commendation is the only incentive, and we’ve had that done since 'Nam - If I core before 10 minutes then get less req points and experience for that game. Why should I be penalized for being good? And honestly by the time the 10 minute mark passes we’re usually around 750-850 in score, so we just choose to farm the rest because people have high value reqs in play. - If I attempt to core, I will die quite a bit. I’m not sure if a lot of “crops” realize this part. It won’t really make a difference if you play against a team that truly wants to farm kill you, but some teams do want to core and get it over with. As some people on this forum constantly complain about teams not coring, those same people sit in the core room ready to kill anyone that tries to enter. Why should I attempt to show you mercy if you won’t even give me a free pass to do so? These types of players are just as concerned with their kills as the farmers, and it tells me that they would have been farming us if we hadn’t been better than them. Again, that’s why I farm. The only way I see farming stopping is a mercy rule, which I would hate if done incorrectly, or a high incentive for core destructions. If they made it so that the faster you core, the more req points you get, a lot of farming would just stop. Instead, it’s the opposite, which is just straight-up wrong.

I think my company did fight you can’t remember if we lost by a lot or it was the one were we lost but came close, and the reason behind the reqs being more for staying is it keeps people playing the game and spending reqs so its like a refund for the reqs you are going to use for a longer game and along with that it prevents teams from just staying in their core letting the enemy team rush in and take it then benefit with more points since the “lost” so quickly
