I really don’t understand what kind of mentality 343i had when they decided to not only let the majority of the screen go to waste in the user interface, but to use giant icons in the little space that remained.

The point is that 343’s menus are awful and require constant flipping through tabs to gather in form of information when it all should be available on a single screen.
Halo 4’s UI is akin to a touch device’s, not a AAA game.

The one that you posted looks cool , but lets be honest , they wont change it , and i got used to the new one.

Even think they designed it the way they did not to put stress the system, even in a lobby? Constant data traffic even when the game isn’t being played, seems slightly overkill and I see no problem with the current list. Holly, -Yoink- I have to hit the X button to see who’s playing, NOT LIKE ANYONE ON MY LIST IS ANYWAYS!
I thought you were going to talk about the maps, that I can agree with, the community has dozens of great maps. The LOCKOUT and PITT are amazing, but they’ll never be added to MM:(

If they have any issues with traffic in a menu, they do not deserve to be a developer of any form.
That said, there is more data transfer while in-game than in the menu. This is easily seen when viewing your network information.
> I don’t like the multiplayer lobby at all but its something everyone will get used to. Gameplay is what matters and is what 343i should be focused on.
I will never be used to an -Yoink!- of a touch screen user interface on my monitor.

> I don’t see how it wouldn’t fit unless you are using a 4:3 screen. This UI was designed for a 16:9 and will work on any 16:9 screen.
