I’m attempting to write a fan fiction centered around UNSC exploration efforts post-Halo 4, and I need some help fact-checking some original concepts I’ve been working on for the story.
If I could get someone who knows the gritty details, facts and figures of the Halo universe to look at these ideas and tell me what will need adjusting, I’d appreciate it.
Basically, I’d need them to (a)review a couple of ship designs and tell me how far-fetched they are or what details don’t make sense and (b)give me a few pointers about UNSC naval command hierarchy aboard ships, what kinds of tech the UNSC Marine Corps is using around 2559.
Also, if anyone could tell me if there are any real details about the Forerunner-period human empire, I’d doubly appreciate it. I know a few details from the Halo 4 terminals and Greg Bear’s Forerunner trilogy of novels, but if there’s any more information on the subject out there, I’d like to know about it.

OK, thanks for the advice. I’ll dig around Halopedia for reference. I usually use the Halo Wiki, but apparently Halopedia is more of an accepted standard.
Do you think I could PM some ship concept data to you for fact checking, or is that not as much your area of expertise?

Halo wiki has being labeled as the poorer of the two… wikipedias… due to its lack of consistency. But use both as some information is on one but not the other format.
