Cortana and the Created are the main threat to the universe. - UNSC Infinity has retreated. - Blue and Red team are working together based on final cutscene. - The covenant remnants are all but destroyed and the Arbitor has regained control of Sanghelios. - The Banished have emerged as a new super power believed to be worse than the Covenant. - UNSC Spirit of Fire is stranded outside the Milky Way over Installation 00. - The Universe is currently held hostage by Guardians. - A new Halo installation is on its way near Reach. - Cortana has control of the ring.To sum this up, my theory is that as quickly as the Created have taken power they will lose it. Cortana is going to be destroyed, by who’s hand I’m not sure. My theory is that Cortana is going to meet her fate on a post glassed Reach. Her birth place. This idea is fuelled by the events of Halo Wars 2 and where the new ring has been placed. As these two games collide finally into the same fight. Whilst fighting the Created the UNSC are going to be introduced to a very angry revenge seeking Brute War Master and tactician. His forces will become the next overwhelming plague of the galaxy. Atriox will replace Cortana as the greatest threat of the galaxy. The very end of Halo 6 will be the return of the flood, the single spore on the UNSC SoF the very possible flood remnants on Installation 00, and now that it has been opened it could very well release the parasite again. Especially if the portal from Earth to the Ark is reopened once more.
This is a fan theory, I could go into mass detail but I feel the simpler version will suffice. Let me know what you think!

There have been colonies picking away at glassed planets for years, it’s not so hard to imagine that Reach is being restored. Installation 04 was also brought out of slipspace prematurely as well, which could bring it within “close” proximity with Reach or the Soell system. Since Cortana and her Guardian stopped the ring in its tracks. The Halo Universe isn’t as vast as it once was, it’s being filled with more and more each day, soon enemies will have to emerge from other universes. It’s not crazy to think this at all, I for one would welcome a return to Reach for some awesome post apocalyptic nostalgia.
I don’t have any specific predictions… But I hope the following happens:
We are Master Chief again and Locke is a thing of the past. At most, he can be a (Reach like) AI teammate. Along with Buck, Arby, Vale, and all memebers really of both teams at different points in the campaign. But we are J117.
I hope Atriox is THEE main leader / force we face in the next few Halo games

That Reach got terraformed is an confirmed fact,but I dont know what that has to do with the Rings position.
The Universe is stil vast in terms of distance and we dont know where the Ring falled out of Slipspace,so it could be anywhere between the Ark and his final destination.
