Fan-Made Halo 4 Sounds (LISTEN, IT'S FREE!)

Hey guys! Two of my friends and I made a couple of Halo sounds for you guys to listen too!
Derek and Brad, if you read this, this is your shoutout on Waypoint!
We tried to do a Neil Davidge approach and made the tracks very different, but still being able to recognize it after close listening as a Halo track.
This took a lot of time and effort, so please consider that.
Made and exported using GarageBand on Mac OS X Lion.
If the demand is high, I wouldn’t mind making more!

The FIRST one is more of an exploring-Requium-on-a-warthog type sound. At first, it sounds not Haloish, but you can start to hear subtle themes after a minute or so. Sorry for the abrupt cut at the end, but I wasn’t about to take another hour or 2 to re-upload it for about 5 seconds more of sound.

The SECOND one is a high-intensity track. We wanted to do an epic sound similar to Halo 3s, while adding some subtle techno to keep it sounding futuristicy without ruining it or turning it into a techno/dubstep song.

Thank you 343i for continuing the Halo saga!

EDIT: Thank you to whoever moved this! I never realized there was a community creation forum section! AWESOME!

I like it. Sounds like a song that belongs in an RPG though, remember it’s an FPS, so I don’t think it could be used mid-game during frenetic battles. Perhaps in menues or during exploration segments.
The theme is reminiscent of what I would expect from an Elder Scrolls game, and considering my fav soundtracks are Halo and Elder Scrolls, that’s a BIG compliment.

I defiantly know what you mean. At least for the first sound. The second sound sounds (at least to me) like it should be in a FPS.

Oh yeah the second one is great. Sorry bout that, forgot to mention I was referring strcitly to the 1st piece.
The second one is definitely suitable for big battles. Good job on both.

I really enjoyed the second one, like it’s actually great

I say make more, both of them were awesome!

ps, dunno why, but i got a “hunger games” vibe from the opening of the second one…just throwing that out there

Thanks! I might, need more feedback and inspiration.

Clearly the OP is too boss.

I’d like to hear more tracks from you, perhaps a new take on the classic “Under Cover of Night” perhaps? Of course you don’t have to, I’ll be willing to hear more from you regardless
